Jungkook went back to the PC cafe and found Marie having some noodles.
"Hey." Jungkook says casually
"Hi." Marie says quietly
"Wanna hang out today? Go to the mall, amusement park, aquarium?" Asks Jungkook
"Are you asking me out?" She stares at Jungkook.
"It's more of a friend date, being gamers."
"Sure, lets go to Lotte World, no, Everland!"
"Sure what time?"
"I think 4 would be fine." Says Marie happily
Marie did like Jungkook, although he is a celebrity and she didn't want his reputation to be ruined.
Eventually, time came faster than she thought and she rushed her new game program to get ready.
Marie had long hair, I like the past, half tied up. She wore black tights with a red hoodie and a black hat, whereas Jungkook came in a nice long turtleneck shirt with a pair of blue jeans.
Together they went to Everland and saw Lauren and Suga waiting in line to ride the Ferris wheel.
"Oh there is my friend Lauren! I see she is with some guy." Marie says nudging Jungkook.
"You know that girl?!" Exclaims Jungkook
"Ya, how do you know her?" She questions
"Oh I don't know her personally but the guys thats with her is my hyung and I'm guessing he's interested in her."
They both stare at each other, and start to grab their phones out to take pictures of them laughing and having fun together.
Meanwhile...
"What ride do you want to go on next?" Asks Suga
"I'm not sure, you choose!"
"Let's go on the Ferris wheel!" Suga says excitedly
"Sure but one thing.. I am very scared of heights and I never been on a Ferris wheel since I was 6. I remember how the Ferris wheel stopped and I was already at the top, by myself."
Suga looks at lauren with sadness, but with heroic confidence.
"Well this time, you won't be alone." Suga says smiling. His smile was so warm, it changed Lauren's facial expression from worried, to relief.
The line was extremely long though for the Ferris wheel. Suga and Lauren finally got on when it was 7pm! The sun has disappeared as the moon has risen.
The Ferris wheel was going slow, but was shaky so it made her leap. Suga told her to relax and sit down. As lauren made her way to being calm, she mentions what she sees.
"Look at the tower! It looks so gorgeous at night!" Lauren says with excitement.
"We can go there next time!"
Lauren never knew there was a next time , but she certainly wanted one.
"Oh I almost forgot, 2 days ago it was your birthday and I haven't realized, so I went to get you a present. Today was pretty much a day I wanted to spend time with you. I know it's late but I hope you can accept this."
Lauren says giving him a present, a new microphone, extremely expensive, $1000!
Suga opens it with happiness shown all over his face.
"Thank you, thank you so much... for celebrating my birthday with me." He says, tears streaming down his face.
"Yoongi are you okay? What's wrong? Do you not like the present?"
"No I love it, I love it so much, but I need to tell you something I'm grateful for." He says sadly.
Yoongi says, "When I was 5, my dad said we would celebrate my birthday together with family and friends. Of course I was excited until it was two days before my birthday, my mom killed my dad. She told me he died from suicide, but I never trusted her. The day after I went to see uncle who told me what really happened, and he never knew mom lied to me. Then on my birthday, my mom took me to the beach and told me to wait as she was going to get me food. I waited there for a whole day and it turns out she never came back. So, I was brought to the orphanage after fainting from starvation and waiting." Yoongi starts sobbing and bursting into tears.
"I never knew this happened Yoongi.. I'm so sorry to hear that, but I bet your father would be proud of who you've become." Lauren says smirking, then dives in for a hug.
"I feel like you are the only person that would understand me. The hyungs would never understand how I feel and they wouldn't even care what I do or not." Yoongi yells with frustration, feeling all emotional.
Then, Yoongi dives in, gets closer, and kisses Lauren.
"Whoaaaa!" Both Marie and Jungkook say as they zoom into the camera of their phones.
"What the heck just happened?" Marie yells
"It's called kissing someone on the Ferris wheel. I see that Suga finally made a move for Lauren. He now realizes that he doesn't need to shut everyone out of his life." Jungkook grins.
"Sorry I don't do that." Marie says disgusted
"You will eventually, everyone does. Everyone ages, everyone dies, everyone sleeps, everyone kisses. Overall, I'm happy for them, they make a cute couple."
Marie replies, "Yeah, same here."
