Chapter 26

It's almost night time, Yoongi kneeling on the floor, clenching Lauren's hand for almost 2 hours.

"Yoongi-hyung, are you going to be like this forever?" Jungkook asked, head down.

"Just leave me alone." He mutters.

"This won't do you any good! Just try to keep up, remember we still need you. Let's go home soon. I'll buy you anything you want for dinner so just get up and-"

"I said just shut the hell up already!" Yoongi looks up shoving the maknae onto the floor.

After 1 hour

"We're back!" Hoseok says happily, "I bought everyone some drinks from the convenience store!"

Ellen was following behind a bag, "I also bought us some snacks to keep us company."

Jungkook tried to keep his hopes up for Keira and put on a bright smile, "Yay! Thanks!"

Anahita and Jin however, were walking in, holding hands. Jungkook started at them, then at their hands. Jungkook knew that Jin is very picky and to his perspective, a fun-killer. Anahita starts to blush bashfully and lets go of Jins hand. Then she runs over to Keira.

"Jungkook! How is Keira?" She asks.

He shakes his head, "I don't know. All we can do now is pray and hope for the best."

"How's Yoongi?" Jin comes over to ask.

"Not very amused to happy either." Jungkook sighs and glances a look at him, then starts to cry himself, "I just hope everyone can be happy again" *sniff sniff* "And I just want everyone to be healthy and playful like we were before."

Jin then comes close to Jungkook hugging him tightly.

"It's going to be okay. Everything will turn normal again."

Ellen was ignoring all the conversation and goes to Keira, only able to see her from such distance. She watches her as she looks like she's in pain, but then, sees that her finger moved.

"Call the doctor.." she whispers.

"Why?" Anahita asked.

"Just call the freaking doctor right now!" Ellen yells half excited, half worried.

Anahita then brought the doctor right over and told him that Ellen was searching for him.

"I think I saw Keira's finger move!" She exclaimed.

Jungkook runs over to Ellen and looks her in the eye, "Really?! Thank goodness. I don't know what I would've done if she never came back!"

"Hold on now don't get your hopes up. Let me check her first." The doctor says.

He walks alone into the room and starts to examine her. As he does, he heard Keira groan.

"Well, she's alive, but still needs some time. We'll move her to a room with more publicity." He says smiling.

"Yes thank you so much doctor!" Jungkook grabs his hand shaking it, bowing down before him. Everyone was so happy, even Yoongi had a little grin.

They all decided to go home, Yoongi was released a bit too. The next day, they visited the hospital again.

"I'm going to go speak with the doctor a bit. You guys go ahead." Jungkook smiled.

"Okay." Anahita says as he walks to the counter.

"Wait guys.." Jin says before we stepped into her room.

"What is it now?" Yoongi says rolling her eyes.

"If Keira is awake, I don't think we should mention Lauren's death right now."

"Why?" Ellen says.

"Yeah I think we should at least let her know about it." Anahita agrees.

"No, but if we tell her, she may get shocked and faint or get injured more." Jin advises.

"Ok, just to stay safe I agree with Jin on this one." Yoongi glares.

They all step in the room and see Keira is awake and alive.

"Keira!" Ellen yells and runs to give her a great big hug, "Thank goodness you're alive."

"We brought a fruit basket just in case." Anahita said nervously. She didn't agree fruit would be the best thing to eat after waking up since it'a stiff and hard to eat for injured people.

"Thanks guys." She says quietly.

Then she sees Jungkook running in behind them. Jungkook drops the medical papers and forms from the doctor. He runs over to see her and then strokes her hair.

"You're really alive and well." He says hugging her tight, "I missed you."

"I missed you too. I had a strange dream however. Took me long enough to realize we were right for each other." Keira laughs crying, "Can you all go and get me a smoothie. I'm craving food but it would be nice to go safe with liquids after surgery."

"Of course! Lets go!" Jungkook having the brightest smile and laugh, skips out the room with the others.

As the door closes, Keira sees the doctor walk in.

"When are you planning on telling them?" The doctor asked.

"Please don't tell them. I don't want to see them sad when they're this happy. I already got to see Jungkook before I die. That's all I need, all I wish for." Keira looks down at her hands, clenching them with her tears falling on her knuckles.

"That's all, I ever need.."
