Running, panting, crying. That was Matthew, as he desperately tried to figure a way off this planet. If he stayed, there would be nowhere Sledge couldn't find him. He had to get off the planet, or at least go into hiding, but how?
Racking his brain for an answer, it hit him like a wall. The Junkyard. It was a cemetery of dead ships, their last remnants slowly rotting away in a godforsaken hellhole. He might be able to find some salvageable pieces and put together a ship, maybe even one that could survive the trip to Earth. But then he remembered the people there. It was said that they had nothing to lose, and would tear apart anyone who even came close
"Well, I only have this one chance, and if I fail, I'm dead anyways." Matthew thought. He turned a corner, and fear slowly seeping into his mind like a parasite, he went towards the junkyard, unknowing of what could happen next, but pushed by the fear of death.
