Chapter Nine

Jaysons pov

I came home and Jessenia was gone, but everyone else was still home. I checked my phone and I had a text from Jessenia

J: since ur throwin this party at last minute. Imma go to party city and buy some stuff. See ya later
Me:  alr bet

I started setting up the cups and putting the drinks in the fridge so they could get cold for later. I put the food in bowls and on a plates and set them out. There was 3 hours till the party. So I covered up the food so nothing would get on it and stuff. It was 4:00 and the party started at 7:00. So I went out to buy us food to eat for dinner.

Kenzie's Pov

I woke up to Jessenia and Jayson gone. Travis was sleeping on the couch. I took a shower once I seen it was 4:30. Once I got out I wanted food. I text Jayson to see where he was and if he could bring me food.

Me: Hey babe. Where are you?
Jayson: I'm out buying food for dinner. Oh get ready because we're having a party tonight. Jessenia is out buying stuff for the party.
Me: Okayy and alr imma go get ready

Once I put my phone on the charger I got dressed for the party. Then I went out to buy party hats because why not.

Travis Pov

I woke up on the couch and looked at my phone it was 4:56. I got up and showered and got dressed. No one was home, which was weird. I texted Jessenia to see where she was and everyone else.

Me: where you and everybody at?
Jessenia: we're throwing a party. I'm at party city, bout to leave. Jaysons getting dinner. Kenzie's getting party hats. Get ready.
Me: alr

I put my phone on the charger and went to go get ready for this party. I put on my black shirt and some blueish black jeans and my Jordan's. I looked at the time and it was 5:30 so I put all Jessenia's valuable things away.

Jessenia's Pov

I pulled in the drive way and grabbed all the bags and went inside. I looked at my phone and the time was 6:45. It was almost time so I started decorating and putting out the cups for beer pong. I put all the shot glasses I bought out and on the table.  Jayson came walking in the door with. McDonald's. He gave us our food and we ate in silence. Once we were done it was 6:56 and Kenzie walked through the door with party hats and she ate her food. Then once it was 7:00 we heard the door bell. I went to open the door and people who started pouring in the house. I left the door unlocked, so more people could just come in.

Taras Pov

I walked into Jessenias house at 7:40. It was packed with people from school and some of Jessenias cousins. I seen Jessenia and Kenzie at the table taking shots so I walked over to them because I had to tell them the news. "Hey guys, I gotta tell you something." I told them. Jessenia looked at me and could tell something was wrong "What is it?" She asked. Kenzie just waited for me to answer. "Me and Sam broke up." I spitted out. It felt good to get it out and to tell someone. They were silent for a minute. "I'm so sorry!" Kenzie said breaking the silence. "I'm sorry too, but to be honest I never liked her and I knew it wouldn't last long" Jessenia said. I nodded. "Its fine guys, its not your guys fault and yeah I knew it wouldn't last long but its whatever now" I said just staring at the shot glass. Jessenia could tell I needed and wanted one so she poured the tequila into the shot glass and pushed it in front of me. "Here, it'll help you relax" she said pouring herself one and downing it. She was fine on the other hand I gagged a little. She was a Mexican so she's used to this stuff and hot sauce and peppers,etc. Kenzie took a shot and cringed a little. We took shots the rest of the night pretty much. I seen Kailey walked in and I liked her. She was beautiful. I walked over her with a beer and gave her one. "Thanks" she smiled. "No problem, you like the party?" I said and she nodded. A song came on and we started dancing. Then she whispered in my ear "will you go out with me?" I smiled and replied "hell yeah". We started kissing and dancing. We spent the rest of the night together.
