How's everyone doing? In this Au, Larry is a bit of a jerk sometimes, but believe me when I say he has a long way to go. Made this one a bit longer than the last one ;)

Sally woke up in a cold sweat, the beeping of his alarm jolted him awake. It was Monday already, fuck. Gizmo meowed from the other side of the room, he hated waking up early as much as Sal did. But this time it was even worse, it was his first school day.
Most people dislike school because of the seemingly never ending homework and the boring routine, but at least they didn't have to wear an off putting mask with empty eye sockets wherever they went.
He walked up to the bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror. He briefly remembered the first time he saw his face after the incident, and how much he had screamed that day, and the next one, and the next one.
Now, the wounds that painted bloody streaks on his face were tinted a very light pink, his father said they looked like tiger stripes, that made him feel better almost instantly. An albino tiger, that is.
He opened his mirror and fished his glass eye from a tiny jar. The icy blue pupil faced him. This part used to be the hardest, it was instinctive now. He opened up his eyelids to insert it right in his socket. It felt cold and slippery, but with a few blinks the eye was looking right where it should. He made sure to wash his hair so it could look well kept, the baby blue dye had made it a bit dry over the years. He put on his favorite outfit, some old ripped jeans, a big sweater and blue converse. He put on his usual pig tails. Those were always an issue back at his old school. And now, the cherry on top. He buckled his mask strongly, no one was pulling that bad boy off from his face today. He was ready for anything. He grabbed his bag and a sandwich his dad made him and headed to the bus stop.
During the weekend he had got to know multiple of his neighbors, including a pretty lady called Lisa. She was a hardworking janitor that lived in the basement of the apartments, his dad said she seemed pretty nice.
As he got into the elevator, he accidentally pressed the button for the basement from thinking about that lady. He quickly pressed the button for the first floor but it was no use, he was already heading down. He put his back to the elevator and leaned his head back with a sigh. He hoped the bus wouldn't leave without him. As the elevator stopped, he was already pressing the button to close the doors and get it over with, but a quick hand stopped the doors from completely closing.
A tall, lean boy went through the doors with a huff. Did Lisa live with anybody?
He had long dark hair, almost black at first sight, but it was surely a deep brown. It was kind of messy too. He wore an old shirt with something that resembled a logo of some kind stamped on it. The chain on his pocket rattled a bit as he leaned on the elevator wall near Sal. His scent was really strong, a mixture of cigarette smoke and cologne, not very discreet. Sal didn't dare look at him in the eye, but he peaked at his face for a second. Wow, he had really dark under eyes, was it makeup? Oh, and a little mole too. His nose was long and fine. His lips..

"What are you looking at, chump?" The tall boy asked with a raspy voice, giving Sal a dirty look.

Sal was broken off from his trance. He looked away instantly, gulping.

"Nothing"

A fight in such a closed space wasn't a very good idea at the moment, but Sal was already used to receiving punches. He was already used to giving them back as well, he had become pretty good at it.

"That's what I thought" the tall boy mumbled.

The elevator finally stopped after what seemed to be years. Sal walked out and headed for the bus stop, followed by the tall boy. Great, he probably attended the same school as him, fit his luck right. Next to the bus stop sign was a freckled boy with bright orange hair and a pair of rounded glasses, he was wearing a teal shirt and some kakis. He waved his hand casually, he seemed like a pretty chill guy.

"Larry! You woke up early this year" the redhead said.

He had a bit of a nasal voice. So the tall one's name was Larry.

"Todd, dude, It's time to leave old habits behind. I'm a new man for sure" Larry said with a low chuckle. Todd fixed his glasses and cleared his throat.

"It seems you're still smoking though, guess some habits are never truly behind" Todd said with a small smirk

Larry punched him in the arm affectionately

"Wise ass" Larry retorted, both of them chuckled.

Sal noticed Larry had a gap on his teeth, but apart from that, he did look an awful lot like Lisa. Definitely her spawn.
Todd and Larry seemed to be around Sal's age, but he wasn't really sure, Sal was kind of short and that made him look younger. Appearances were confusing sometimes.
The bus arrived and Sal sat on one of the middle rows, while Todd and Larry went straight to the back seats.
He sighed quietly. It was gonna be a rough day for sure.
