Moving In

You heaved a sigh as you and Jungkook unloaded the last of your belongings into the storage unit you were renting until you could purchase a new condo. Glancing up at your younger brother you laughed at him, noticing the streaks of dirt along his cheek and forehead. 

"Sorry it took us so long. None of the other guys could get away to help. Life of an Idol." He used the bottom of his shirt to wipe the sweat and dirt from his face, shooting you his trademark bunny smile.

"It's no problem. Still went faster with you here than it would have gone with just me. Are you sure it's ok with everyone that I stay until I find a place?" You take a last glance around the storage unit making sure everything was tidy and in order before letting Jungkook pull the door shut and locking it.

"Yeah none of them had a problem with it, us being family and all. I think Tae and Jimin are actually looking forward to it, Hobi too. Gives them someone else to joke around with. I think Jin is looking forward to cooking with you. I didn't have the heart to tell him you couldn't cook to save your life." He opens his truck door for you, letting you get in before shutting it and going around the front to get in the driver's seat. 

"Ah. So I'm going to be accosted when I get there? Gee that sounds so... not fun." You bite your lip, looking out the window, nervous about being around so many new people.

"Noona, you'll be ok. Granted I won't be there with you every second, but I'll still be there. And these are good guys, I wouldn't let them around you if they weren't." He reaches over and grabs your hand, giving it a gentle squeeze before putting it back on the wheel, reversing out of the lot, and heading towards the dorm.

"I know. It's just new people, new situations. I'll be ok, it will just take some time." You try to smile at him reassuringly. "Besides, I've been checking out incoming condo listings as they've been coming in. There are a few promising ones that I cant wait to check out, so I set up times to go look at them this week. There's a chance I won't even be there long."

"Awww, but Noona. I'm looking forward to getting to see you and spend time with you again. It feels like it's been forever since we've had a chance to hang out. Besides, I need a duet partner. Jimin has a high pitched voice, but I'd rather sing with you any day." 

"Awww little Bunbun. You know I'll sing with you any time. Just don't record it, I'm not as good as you guys." You look around as he pulls in to the underground parking beneath the dorm. "Is it always this dim down here?" You take your time getting out of his truck, looking around nervously at the darkened interior of the parking garage.

"Nah, we've been on maintenance to get the lighting fixed, normally it's nice and bright down here for security reasons." He opens the back door of his truck, handing you your laptop bag and overnight bag as he grabs your two suitcases, wheeling them himself while motioning you with his head towards the elevator. Swiping his key card once you both get inside he presses the button for the 5th floor as the doors close. "We'll have to set you up with a card so you have access to the building and don't have to rely on one of us or the security team whenever you want to go somewhere."

"Can it wait until tomorrow? I'm sort of beat and I just want to shower and get into some comfy clothes. I can't wait to unpack and get everything sorted."

"Of course. I even put one of my newer hoodies on your bed for you. Not sure if you still use them for comfort, but it's clean and it will be nice and big on you." He pulls your suitcases behind him as he walks towards the dorm door, unlocking it and nudging you through the door into the entryway and down a hallway. "You're room is across from mine in case you need anything. I made sure there is an extra lock on the inside for you. And you have your own personal bathroom in here too."
