Friday rolls around and you're waiting for Kook and Yoongi to finish getting ready to you can meet the agent at the first condo. You were sitting on the couch, checking you had the listing sheets in your purse. Finally, after what felt like forever you hear their voices coming down the hallway. Grabbing your purse, and double-checking your keys were in there you stood up, meeting them in the doorway and walking with them down to the parking garage. "We're taking my car."
"Aww Noona, your car doesn't have enough space for my legs," Kook whined, clearly not pleased at not being able to drive.
"I'll sit in back Kookie, it's fine. My legs are shorter than yours." A quiet Yoongi quips.
You snorted a bit, "Yeah they are." You slide into the driver's seat, buckling up before starting the car.
"Hush up there midget. I'm still taller than you."
"Dude I'm a girl, we're expected to be short. What's your excuse?" You glance at him through the rearview mirror, your eyebrow raised and a grin on your face.
"Some things take longer to be perfect. Clearly, it didn't take me as long as it did Kookie up there."
You couldn't help but laugh. You loved that these two were close enough to pick on each other like this. And you didn't know it, but Kook loved that you were opening up enough to joke around with the others. You finally pull up to the first condo, the one with the amazing security but is seriously over budget. Talking with the agent as you walk through the rooms, comparing them to the specs on the listing sheet. The condo is amazing and gorgeous, the views from the balconies were breathtaking and you could imagine yourself here. Coming home every day, curled up in your favorite chair under a fuzzy blanket on a rainy day with a good book. Everything about this place said home to you and you knew you wanted it, but you couldn't let the agent know that yet. You played coy, and slightly uninterested, stating that you wanted to see the other two condos. They were ok, certainly nice but they didn't scream home to you like the first one did. Shaking hands with the agent you said you wanted to think things over and would get back with him in a few days.
"Ok guys be honest, what did you think about them?" You were all back in your car, driving home after a long 3 hours.
"Well as someone who knew nothing about them, and knowing nothing about what you're interested in; I'd go for the first one. It's pricey but as a woman alone in the city, I think we would all feel better with you living there. All that security is a bonus. However, all that aside, you look good in it. Uhh, I mean, it suits you. It's classy. Um, I mean, welcoming and homey. Something you would want to come home to at the end of a long day. Jesus, I think I'm just going to shut up now." Yoongi stuttered. His words brought a smile to your face that made you thankful he was in the back seat and couldn't see. You glanced over at Kookie when he cleared his throat.
" While I don't mean them the same way Yoongs does, I agree with his assessment. It's you Noona. It feels like it was made and designed just for you."
"Yeah what he said."
"Thanks, guys. I actually agree. Now I just need to talk to the bank to see if they would even approve me for a loan that high." You pull in to the parking garage, debating with the others what to order for dinner that night on the way up to the dorm. "We should probably ask the others what they want before we make a decision you guys."
Kookie exits the elevator first, quickly walking to the door and going inside. "Um, Yoongi?" You quietly try to get his attention, making him stop outside the door as he turns and looks at you. "Thank you for Shooky. It was really sweet of you."
You watch as he dunks his head a bit and rubs the back of his neck. "It's not a big deal. I know it can be a comfort thing, especially being in a new place and all." He tilts his head, silently telling you to go ahead of him into the dorm.
Walking into the living room you see Jin and Namjoon deep in conversation, Jimin sitting quietly, leafing through a magazine. You plop down next to Jimin, resting your head on his shoulder and looking at the magazine with him. "Decorating Jimin?"
He looks up at you sheepishly. "Well, I thought you might want help with the new place, whichever one you decide on. And I wanted to help. If you'll let me that is."
You give him a big grin and kiss his cheek, causing his entire face to turn red. "I would love your help Jiminie. You did an amazing job on my room so I know you'll do an amazing job in my place."
Jin looks up from his conversation, "You went with the big one didn't you?"
You nod at him and bite your lip. "Yeah. I know that's the one I want. I just need to get with the bank and figure out if I can get approved for it."
"You got this. There's no reason they won't approve you. You have an amazing job, I'm sure your credit is fine. You'll get it. I have faith in you Princess."
"Thanks, Jin. So what are we doing for dinner? I sorta wanna celebrate so if we order something it's on me." You don't pay any attention to their protests, insisting on paying even though they said the bill for them is usually pretty expensive. "Guys, I closed on a house yesterday. My commission can totally handle paying for dinner. You decide what you want, I'm going to put my jammies on and get comfy."
You and Jimin spent the rest of the night pouring over decorating magazines or websites picking and choosing the furniture you wanted. He insisted, after agreeing with Jin that there would be no way you wouldn't get that condo. You went to bed that night feeling lighter than you had in a long time, planning to call the realtor first thing Monday morning to let them know you wanted to move forward on getting that house.
