Chapter 19

KATH POV

On a tuesday morning, I have nothing to do but lay here in my comfty bed with my cutiepatootie niece Lhexine. My sister dropped Lhexine off this early morning because she had to go on an important meeting and so and so. She told me to babysit her at the moment so i'm not available to go out but hey i love spending with her in my spare times.

Lhexine was busy with her teddy bear i gave in her 1st birthday it was cute to be honest. I sang quietly Twinkle twinkle little star... and she joined a while singing the rest of the song. She was really easy going child and listens carefully. How i love this cute child.

"Im going to sleep ate kath"She said in her tiny little voice. I gave her a slight smile patting the empty space next to me. She yawned for a bit and with her little snore she was on her own world.

My mom sooned opened the door slowly yet quietly giving me a signal that I am now released and she is now in charge to take care of her. I sigh thanking her and walked to the kitchen to get some snacks to nibble on.

My phone rang i mean vibrated loudly breaking my gazed to the wall i was staring it earlier eating my snack. I picked it up causing my eardrums to burst by the yelling on the line. jesus christ! I totally forgot to turn down the volume early and i might probably can't hear by now, thanks miles and julia.

"girl, we need to cruise again! we miss you so much please come with us to the mall!"

"do i have a choice? ofcourse i will! im bored to death here, well not really but you get what i mean. why are we heading at the mall?"

"yay! you'll see and shh i don't want to spoil it. we'll have fun and you know what that means! girl time!"

"uh alrighty then. what time? so i could get ready real quick and pick me up okay, darlings."

"great! we'll be there in thirty minutes. what time is it? oh right uhm yeah you should go get ready now! you'll hear the car horn outside the door and that will be us, alright?!"

"yups, kita kits girls!"

I quickly showered as I hurried and grabbed my outfit inside my wardrobe.{picture on the side} Today i let my hair loose while curling the ends of my hair to look for pumped. I grabbed my wallet, phone, pads, lipbalm and dropped all of it inside my purse.

I glance back my appearance at the wall mirror face to our couch I smiled at myself with confidence. "Walk Like You Have Three Men Walking Behind You."rang to my ears I really loved this quote very much. To all the people out there who gets always teased by your looks, nationally etc. just remember that quote. it helps!

A loud beeping sound came through outside my house. I called my mom out that i will be leaving now and she just yelled back okay be careful!. I locked the door safetly before I could leave the house. Julia's car was waiting outside the gate waving at me to come already.

"why aren't you guys coming to dj's concert this thursday.. you guys suck!" I whined loudly

"i told you, i have photoshoot. if I cancelled it there will be no other time. can you imagine that?"

"i know. i hope you would still come anyways, and you miles why aren't you coming too?"

"well. i have a video shoot to do remember? the show must go on! Luv U!"

"Oh right! but gaaah, i'll be the only girl there and i have no one to talk to."

"Don't say that."They all groaned.

We arrived at the mall altogether smelling the fresh flowers that we parked on. A paparazzi took a snap of us three without noticing him or her. We shrugged it off and walked in.

"OMG! Wait! I know where this is going! Were shopping for clothes!"

"Yup, you guessed it! Whoop!" Miles said clapping both of her hands.

We walked in this beautiful store full of beautiful dresses for all shapes and sizes. The girls shoved me to the fitting room threwing different kind of dresses at me. They forced me to try every dress they picked more like trying every dress of all the racks. But I was definately enjoying it.

"Do you know why we brought you here? And why are all dresses? hmm"Julia questioned raising one of her on fleek eyebrows

"I don't know. you tell me."

"These dress are for Dj's concert! Ding Dong. And this dress you chose are perfect! You're buying it right???"

"I choose this dress. Ofcourse im buying it!"

"Okiie Dokiie! Lunch time! My treat!" Miles smiled and my stomach grumbled.

We headed to the food court where serve their delicous burgers and foot long hotdogs. My mouth was watering from it's taste as i devour them to bits.

"Oh look who we have here. What a coincidence eh?" The girly voice rand through my head. No way im dealing with this again, I ignored the voice and just kept on eating but she slapped the burger that was about to go on mouth.

I turned to face my biggest enemy since day one. "I'm talking you atleast speak pig" I snickered im used being called by that, that's why they call me baba.

I alerted her that her words didn't hurt me. I signaled the girls with my 'stand up and let's leave' look and they nodded silently. I stood up walking away from that idiot I told you "Walk Like You Have Three Men Walking Behind You" and that's how what I did. Instead of causing trouble just walked away and let them be an idiot just by standing there.

I headed back to the car and the girls were already on their seatbelts all ready to go. I climed back and sat to the backseat and the thought of Dj crosses my mind. How is he doing right now? What is he doing right now? And-

"Kath! Kath! I've been yelling for two minutes what are you thinking? Your home now." Miles yelled breaking my daydream. I smiled and got out the car waving goodbye as I head inside the house.

I closed the door quietly not making a sound that doesn't mean Im late by now but I just wanted to. "Pst. Kath." I jumped five feet away from the door terrified by the voice.

"DJ! You scared me to death! And what are you doing? not to be rude"

"Sorry. just checking my bestfriend which 'she' didn't even called me today." He said quoting the word she in the air.

"Whatever. We just went shopping for clothes and that's all.How about you?"

"Video games with the guys."

"Typical."

"Yeah. Goodnight!" He said heading out the door.
