Chapter 14

Ambers POV

when we got to a fast food joint, james got off right away and said right up to my face. "you are never going to do that again." he said with his serious voice. i just stared at him then said "ok. i won't, but you do realize how close our faces are right?" he blushed for a moment and jumped back.

"hm..." i sighed "i don't feel like eating anymore. lets go to the park" and i jogged off in the parks direction leaving james to catch up. when we got there, there were a few guys playing soccer on the field. "lets play" i said and i slipped my hood on my head to cover my hair and part of my face. "but i don't think they'll let a girl play.." he said, voice dissapearing in the distance.

"mind if i play?" i ask the guys on the field. "uh... sure?" they said. "but lets see just how good you are to play with us. shortie." now that got my nerves. they kicked the ball up and instantly, i stole it from them and headed in the other direction, whenever they tried to get the ball off me, i just did a roulette around them skillfully. after about 25minutes, they were pretty much out of breath.

"you're pretty good at this.." they said in between breaths. i smiled at that comment but then james came up from behind me and said "you guys just got beat by a girl" they all looked at me and james quickly slipped my hood off my head.

James POV

i grabbed the back of her hood and pulled it quickly off to reveal her slightly sweaty cute face.. did i just think CUTE??

...

never mind. the guys all looked at her in shock, her smile had been turned into a smirk and she said. "skate park anyone?"

Amber's POV

we just arrived at the skate park and everyone has like somekind of skateboard. they looked at me like 'what the hell are you gonna use?' "be right back." in now seconds flat i came back, with my skates. each had only 2 wheels. "watch this i said to james " and he looked at me confused. i quickly glided over to the ramps etc and did a few pro moves and went high up in the air.. man am i enjoying the shocked faces today.
