Chapter 5 - The Morning After

(Harry's POV)

I open my eyes, only to be blinded by the light peaking through the curtains.

I squint as I roll over, breathing in the scent of the sleeping boy next to me.

I put my arm around him and pulled him closer, breathing on his neck.

I heard him groan as he reached up to rub his sleepy eyes, waking up.

"Good morning, Lou. Good sleep?" I asked him kissing his neck lightly in the process. "S'alright" he mumbled.

"Want some breakfast? I was thinking bacon, eggs and beans on toast?" I suggested, my stomach grumbling at my words.

"Yes please oh my god Haz!" He said, turning around to show me his beaming smile. "Okay, well get up and come downstairs in 5, okay? After breakfast we need to clean up this pig stye of a house." I said, walking to the door. "Kay." He said, rolling back over.

"Don't you fall back asleep again, boo!" I said sternly. "I won't!" I heard him say as I walked out of the door.

As I reached the kitchen with a look of disgust on my face from the mess of the house, I opened a cupboard and grabbed some eggs and beans.

I put them by the sink and went to the fridge to pull out the bacon. When I opened the fridge, I immediately gagged at the smell wafting out of it.

I managed to target it as the milk, before picking the carton up and running to the outside bin so I could throw it away.

I walked back into the kitchen and put 6 rashers of bacon onto the pan. When they were nearly cooked to perfection, I cracked the eggs into the pan, leaving them to cook.

I poured the can of beans into a microwaveable jug, and put it in the microwave. The toast was put on at the same time.

As soon as it was all cooked and ready to serve, I shouted for Louis to come down and sit at the table, which I gained an "k Haz" in reply.

Once we finished breakfast, which was delicious by the way, we began cleaning the mountain of mess which was the lounge.

We collapsed on the sofa together and sighed. Finished. At last.

"Bloody hell. That was a lot of mess!" I said to nobody in particular. "I know right!" Louis said.

"Everything is finished, and it's only *checks watch* 10! Wanna play truth or dare?" I suggested. "Sure Haz." Louis said.
