"Yah! Jungguk-ah!"
I call out to my best friend.
Jungguk halts his steps and immediately turns towards me with wide eyes.
I run towards him, a heavy bagpack on my shoulders, jiggling as I ran.
Gosh it was heavy!
I stop half a meter away, panting, bending with my hands on my knees, trying to catch my breath.
Jungguk giggles.
"You didn't have to run all the way here, you know. I could've waited."
I straighten up again and playfully glare at him.
"Yah! Had you picked me up from my house, I wouldn't have had to run all the way here!"
He rolls his eyes.
"Not my fault you're always late getting ready."
"Whatever." I mumble.
I take off my bag and toss it to Jungguk.
"Here. Hold this."
"Hey! Why?!" He whines cutely.
"You made me run till here. That's your fault."
"What the-"
"Drop it! Come on, else we'll be late."
I take his hand and continue our walk towards the school.
