Y/n's POV:
A few weeks later, after school I was walking out and saw Zoe and Elijah. Zoe saw me. She looked away. She told me we'd always be friends. They continued talking. Then it happened. Zoe kissed him. How could you do this?! Is all I thought. Tears fell down my face. I ran all the way to our place, Cole's and I place. When I got there, I sat at the cliff staring off into the water. The beautiful water, something I'll never be. Beautiful.
I heard walking so I dried up my tears. It was Cole. "Y/n! Are you okay?! I saw everything," he said hugging me. I hugged back. I nodded then cried in his arms. We sat their for a while. Just like that. I soon quit crying but I kept still in his arm. He put his hand on my thigh. I sat straight. "Sit back down, nerd" I did as he said. He soon laid down and I laid next to him. We sat their talking. With his hand on my thigh. I blushed when he said I was pretty. "Awe" he coo'ed. "You're blushing," he teased. "Oh shush!" I said softly. "No, it's cute," he said quietly. I looked at him. He sat up, as I did the same. He leaned in. I leaned in also. Then it happened. It felt different then when I kiss Elijah. It was warm. I pulled back. He looked at me. I smiled. "It's crazy how life changes so fast," I say. He nods. Then I started thinking about Elijah. Everything went black.
