ELISES POV..
"Colby?!" I said surprised.
The memories came flooding in again.
"Elise!" He said
He tried to hug me but I backed away.
"Look I'm sorry for what happened. I let jealousy overpower me and again I'm sorry. I would never mean to hurt you intentionally. I know this sounds cliche but I changed. I went back to Kansas after that to better myself. Please forgive me?" He said
He looked like he was speaking the truth and like he was sincere. I do miss this kid and we were friends for a while.
"Alright Brock but mess up one more time and it's done." I said pointing at him.
"I won't!" He said.
He then hugged me and I hugged back.
Colbys POV...
"So where's your boys?" I asked noticing she was alone.
"That's honestly a long story..." she said looking down.
"It's fine you can tell me when you're ready." I said. "We'll I don't wanna bother you so I'll let you get back to your night. Msg me!" I said turning around.
I honestly didn't want to leave her but at the same time I didn't want to annoy her.
"Colby!?" I heard her yell.
"Yeah?" I said turning around.
"Wanna have a sleepover? Kinda tired of being alone..." she said.
"Sure!" I said smiling
We got a whole bunch of snacks and drove to her house. We talked about everything that happened with the boys and I realized I should of been there for her. She's going through so much. Right now we're watching a movie in her room. I looked down and seen her sleeping.
Glad this night ended with her on my chest... what could go wrong?
