Lucas's POV

Bianca suffers memory loss and can't remember me or the children. Her doctor informed us that her condition has become very critical and cannot leave the hospital. This is why I come here everyday. To tell her our life story over and over again, answering any questions she asks. Dad even had to come back to the company to help out. He fully understands the rough patch we're going through, the whole family has been very understanding and helpful in more ways that you could imagine.

I also try to spend as much time with the kids so that they don't get too caught up in the negativity of the situation, their minds are still very agile. Apart from loosing a mother I wouldn't want them to loose a father as well, after all this is me paying for my sins.

"Luca hunny it's not your fault." Bianca was telling me early in the afternoon, right before the kids got off school.

"I probably would have gotten sick even if you didn't cheat." She reasons.

I let out a sigh, tired of going back and forth about this, there was never a winner with us.

"You know? We used to go back and forth like this alot when we first started dating." I remind her.

Her eyes light up, nowing I'm about to give her a piece of her fractured memory.

"We could argue at no end about something as silly as: which is better Pepsi or Coke or potatoe chips Vs corn chips. The most interesting one by far was Barbie Vs Bratz. I still wonder how we even got to talking about them." I chuckle.

She just looks at me in amazement, her gaze holds so much love for me it always pulls at my heart. But I know better than to cry in front her, I want every moment to be a happy one.
"Baby shuck tululululu! Baby shuck tululululu!" We hear before the door opens, signaling the arrival of Hosé. He can't seem to get the darn song out of his head, and it's starting to drive me insane.

Flo walks in with Hosé in her arms, Izzy and Isaac following behind and then Jenny who is the last to enter.

For the rest of the afternoon we flip through the photo album. I hat to get the photos in the photo album reprinted from the tragic day in the tub. Since then it's been my duty to bring it to her, telling her stories of our lives together. We flip through from "the time you were baby sitting and Cathy caught us kissing and claimed I was eating you." to
"Our first date."

"Wait you knocked me up on our first date?" She asked shocked.

"Yeah... I've got game sweety." I tell her with a wink.

"Wow! I was so needy." She jokes.

"Nah! I like to think is has more to do with my charms." I tell her throwing another wink.

She nudges me closer to whisper in my ear "your sperm's on steroids." She whispers for my ears only.

"I don't think I even want to know what they are whispering about." Flo says.

"Me neither." Jenny agrees and we burst into laughter. The kids don't seem to understand where the story has ended up.

"Daddy what next?" Hosé asks, growing impatient.

"You ran away from me, I never thought I would find you again" I answer directed at Bianca.

And just like that, we spent the afternoon. Reliving our lives through the photos, the memories so precious I wish they could stay with her for more than a night.

After so much protest the kids finally head home to bath and have dinner. On some nights we spent camped in the hospital ward. Laughing, telling stories and even singing. During those nights it almost seems as though everything was alright. I could picture us back in our room at home, but the medical equipment and beeping machines seemed to ruin the ambiance.
