Hongjoong sighed as he closed his apartment door. He unbuttoned his coat, hanging it up on the black and white coatrack in the hall. "I hate work..." he mumbled softly to himself as he shuffled down the hall towards the living room.
Entering the room, he only had a moment before all of his friends came bursting out of random places yelling 'surprise!'. He jumped, laughing as he looked around at all of his friends.
San and Wooyoung stood, hand and hand, behind the couch, Mingi peeked out from the bedroom, Minho was throwing streamers all over Jisung, and Seonghwa- wait... Seonghwa?
"Hwa?!"
"Happy birthday, Joongie!" Seonghwa said, running up and wrapping his arms around Hongjoong's waist. Joong flushed bright red as he mirrored the action.
"Thank you..."
