Meanwhile, the men had gotten away from the monkeys.
"Is everyone okay?" Garrick asked.
"I'm fine," Grimtrix replied.
"Good and good," Axel chimed in.
"I guess I can handle smelling like mulberries," Hugo shrugged. "Wait, where are the girls?"
The others saw that the women weren't with them.
"They must've steered in another direction, trying to escape," Axel surmised.
Suddenly, Hugo's Enchantlet lit up, and Sofia's voice rang out, "Hugo, are you there?"
"I'm here," Hugo said. "What's wrong? Are you okay?"
"We're going down a rapid!" Sofia cried. "I can't turn the boat around! We'll catch up with you if we can get out of this!"
"Okay," Hugo nodded.
"What happened?" Grimtrix asked.
"Sofia steered her boat into a rapid, and that means the women are going deep into the forest," Hugo frowned. "The least we can do is go back to the cabin and wait for them. They should at least have the other map."
"Speaking of maps, ours is covered with berry juice," Axel said, showing his map.
"Well, there's only one thing we can do," Hugo said. He flicked his wrist, and his WhichWay Bow appeared. "WhichWay Bow, which way is our log cabin?" He fired a magical arrow, and it showed the way to the cabin, and he steered the boat in the arrow's direction.
Meanwhile, the women were still going down that rapid, but then they went up a few slippery rocks like a ramp and were sent flying through the air. Then the women landed on some dry land, and the boat crashed into some rocks.
"Well, there goes our boat," Arianna sighed.
"Is everyone okay?" Samira asked.
All the women confirmed that they were okay.
"Our map is soaked with water," Sofia fretted. "Now we have no idea where we are, except we know we're far away from the cabin."
"The least we can do is walk around and see what catches our eyes," Megan shrugged.
"I've always wanted to hike in the forest," Arianna smiled.
The girls started to walk around the forest when they saw a blue morpho butterfly.
"Wow, a blue morpho butterfly—I've mostly seen monarch butterflies in Avalor for a festival," Daisy gaped.
"There are so many butterflies," Arianna gaped.
"Painted Lady Butterflies, Swallowtails, Blue Morphos..." Sofia pointed out.
"Look, here's a swallowtail caterpillar," Megan pointed out. "It's a very friendly caterpillar."
The caterpillar got up on Daisy's finger and crawled onto her hand.
"Wow, it's so beautiful," Daisy smiled. Then she started giggling as the caterpillar crawled onto her arm. "Oh, that tickles."
"Friendly caterpillars will really tickle you, which is why you've gotta be careful if you're ticklish," Samira chuckled.
"The monarch caterpillars can tickle," Daisy said, letting the caterpillar down. "I wonder what else is in this forest."
