"You're 10 minutes late." Shinso complained as Kaminari practically burst into his room.
"Awww, you were anticipating my arrival that much?" Kaminari pulled open a drawer next to Shinso's bed and pulled out his study books and papers.
Kaminari had gotten accustomed to leaving his books and papers at Shinso's dorm for when he went over there to study.
"So are we going to start with math or hero history today?" Shinso asked.
"I dunno. Whatever you feel like doing." A moment of silence went by while Shinso gathered his things.
"Soooo, Me, you, party in the common room?" Kaminari winked.
"No." Shinso said blandly.
"Come on! You've gotta come! It's New Year's Eve! What do you plan to do, sit and do nothing all day?"
"Yes."
"Yes to the party? Sweet! I'll plan to see you there!"
"We need to focus Kami." Shinso shoved a piece of paper in front of Kaminari's face.
"It won't be fun without you! I'd be so bummed if I didn't get the opportunity to dance with you." Kaminari couldn't stop his words from spilling out of his mouth.
"I'm not going Kaminari. Parties aren't my thing." Shinso said, setting the paper aside.
"If you don't come I'll electrocute you in you're sleep."
"I won't be asleep so you'll never get the opportunity."
"What if I slipped sleeping pills into your drink?" Kaminari smirked at Shinso.
"That would be a blessing." Shinso sighed.
"Oh ya, keep forgetting you have insomnia. I stopped seeing you on the rooftop as often so I just tried to assume you were sleeping." Kaminari chuckled to himself.
"Dope." Shinso said as he pulled a book in front of his face.
Kaminari could've sworn he saw a small smile on his face as he did.
Kaminari, despite his best attempts, couldn't focus. He was more interested in Shinso's tired purple eyes and the movement of his lips. He noticed how Shinso's hair seemed more of a lavender under the soft lamp lighting and how his skin practically glowed. Soon Kaminari's thoughts drifted away from calculus and studying all together.
Shinso noticed Kaminari's sudden silence looked up at Kaminari. When they met eyes, Shinso trailed off. Kaminari studied Shinso's face, starting with his eyes.
God he could get lost in those eyes forever.
Kaminari's vision eyes slowly trailed down to Shinso's lips. How did he get them to glisten like that? Did they always look that...well...kissable?
Kaminari could feel his face flush. His heart pounded in his chest as he watched Shinso slowly lick his top lip. Was he being that seductive on purpose? Or does this painfully dense idiot not know what he's doing.
"Oi, focus you idiot. You aren't going to learn anything if keep eye fucking me." Shinso rolled his eyes with a cocky smirk.
Kaminari knew that it wasn't out of the ordinary to tease each other like this but right now, at a time like this, it really didn't sound like a joke.
Kaminari leaned forward just the smallest bit. Shinso met his eyes and his cheeks flushed. He looked down at Shinso's lips. Could Shinso also feel the heavy tension that built up in the room?
Kaminari was about to start closing the gap between their lips when Shinso shook his head to himself and looked down, releasing a shaky breath.
"We need to focus. You still need to set up you're party right?" Shinso tried to hide shakiness behind his voice but it slipped.
Kaminari was silent for a moment, trying to cope with totally getting shut down.
"Hello?" Shinso gently shoved Denki's shoulder. "Where's my Kami at?"
"O-Oh uh, ya. Hey since when did you care about my party planning?"
Kaminari just about lost it right there. He couldn't stay in that room for much longer without going insane. But...he wanted to stay.
"Since never. Just thought you should maybe get going."
"Aw Shin are you kicking me out?" Kaminari teased, putting up fake boldness.
"Not exactly...I just need some time alone to think." Shinso said looking down at the history books.
"Think about what?" Kaminari recognized the seriousness in his tone, "You can talk to me about anything, you know that right? And if you ever kill someone, I'll help you hide the body." Kaminari smiled and winked.
"Please just leave." Shinso looked almost upset.
"But Shin we haven't even finished studying." Kaminari was practically clawing for excuses to stay with Shinso.
Shinso on the other hand was looking for any excuse to get Kaminari to leave. He was confused and needed to think. But while Kaminari was there...he may as well test something...
"Do you ever shut up, or do I need to do it myself?" Shinso said with a smirk.
Kaminari immediately went quiet. A blush spread across his face and his soul seemed to leave his body.
"I-If you're the one shutting me up I shouldn't have a problem." Kaminari winked trying to ignore his obvious blush.
"Get outta here dope, I really do need to think some stuff over." Shinso said with a soft smile.
"Alright Shin, see ya at the party!" As Kaminari left the room he swore he saw a blush across Shinso's face.
The moment he stepped outside Shinso's room, he leaned his back against the wall and slid down, letting out a sigh.
