Gay Panic

Kaminari stared in awe at the indigo haired boy. He stood alone on the other side of the room, the flashing lights lighting up his hair. Kaminari found himself staring at Shinso for what must've been a hot minute. Shinso tiredly looked over at the flustered blonde, locking their eyes in a trance.

Kaminari immediately felt weak in the knees and his heart raced. When did Shinso get so damn hot? Sure, Kaminari had had plenty of classes with Shinso and he'd gotten distracted by him before but he never remembered Shinso making him feel like this.

"Holy shit." Before Kaminari could think, he turned around and walked to the back of the room, trying his very hardest not to loose every last bit of composure he once had in him.

He spotted Mina and Sero standing in the back of the room.

"Holy hell you guys. I might pass out."

Mina and Sero exchanged a look.

"Who is it?" They both teased.

"...Shinso." Kaminari hesitated, "I've been thinking about him constantly. I stopped being able to focus in class, I can't sleep, I can't do my homework, I can't even draw."

"Look dude, chill the hell out." Sero put his hand on Kaminari's shoulder.

"How can I chill out when the hottest person on this earth is standing-"

"Right behind you?" Mina interrupted.

"What the-" Kaminari whipped his head over his shoulder to find no one behind him. "You ass. Now give me advice." He pleaded.

"Just do what you always do. You're practically a pro flirter." Mina said sarcastically.

"But that's different! I actually like Shinso, like, really like him. I- I don't know. I'm racking my brain here."

"Or frying it." Sero chimed in, feeling uninvolved.

"Just. Be. Normal. Catch ya later!" Mina shoved Kaminari back into the crowd.

"Whoa whoa whoa Mina what're you- damn."

Kaminari tried to think of something, anything to say to Shinso as he slowly made his way through the crowd.

He felt like time was slowing down more and more as he made his way around the people in the party. He could hear loud music but wasn't paying attention to it. He could hear everyone laughing and yelling, having a good time. Shinso came into view. He was now talking to Midoriya. Kaminari saw that his same tired, bored expression was on his face. But something was different. It may have been the flashing lights but he somehow seemed different. More masculine? His jawline looked like it could cut cheese but his expression was soft, simple.

Kaminari stilled for a moment, feeling content. He was one of the only people Shinso smiled at or with. It was an almost unknown side to him that Kaminari felt extremely lucky to get to know. He stood and watched Shinso. Watched as his lips moved as he talked to Midoriya. Watched as he would occasionally pull at the collar of his shirt.

Suddenly, Shinso looked at Kaminari. His purple eyes glowing in the flashing lights, the mist floated at his feet. Kaminari felt the same weak-knee feeling. He felt his chest squeeze and ache. He took a deep breath and walked, slowly, over to Shinso, trying not to stumble. His face felt, and probably looked, like a million degrees. Kaminari set his small backpack on the counter.

"H-Hey, enjoying the party, dude?"

Fuck. He just called Shinso, dude.

"Eh, it's better now that you finally decided to talk to me." Shinso smiled.

But something was different about his smile. It seemed...shy. Kaminari could've sworn he saw Shinso blush. Could he have some feelings for the blond?

"Ya, the party's definitely more electric when I'm around." Kaminari couldn't stop the words from coming out of his mouth.

Shit shit shit shit shit shit sh-

Shinso chuckled. He looked at Kaminari and smirked,

"Ya, it is."

Kaminari's breathing hitched. If he wasn't panicking before, he most definitely was now. How the hell could Shinso be this hot? All he said was a few dumb words and Kaminari almost lost all strength in his knees. If he didn't have the counter holding him up he would've fallen.

"Hey, I have something important to talk to you about." Shinso looked Denki in the eye.

"U-Uh, yeah. Sure." Kaminari looked at Shinso for just a second before looking away again. If he kept staring he would've just fucking kissed him right there. Or melted...

"Lets go somewhere els-"

"Everyone! We're going to play never have I ever!" Shinso was interrupted by Mina.

She was standing on one of the couches and her hands were cupped around her mouth, trying to amplify her voice.

"We're splitting up into two groups! I'll be coming around and giving you the numbers one or two!"

Mina started walking around the room and tapping people saying, "1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2."

Once she reached Shinso and Kaminari she tapped them on the shoulder,

"One, t-...One." She winked at the two boys and kept assigning numbers.

"I didn't even want to participate..." Shinso complained.

"Oh you're playing this game. If i have to suffer then you do too." Kaminari crossed his arms stubbornly.

"One's over here two's over there!" Mina pointed to different places in the room.

Kaminari and Shinso joined the circle of about 21 people. Holy shit that's a big crowd.

"Alright! I'm in group one with you guys and I suggested the game so I ask first!" Mina stared Kaminari in the eye with a smirk.

Oh god.

"Never have I ever..."
