I know a girl. I know a girl who cries. I know a girl who fears going to sleep. I know a girl who is trapped in her own "Safe" world. I know a girl who wishes she was somewhere else. I know a girl who has a friend. I know a girl who loves to write. I know a girl who tries to escape this world. I know a girl who has a silent scream. I know a girl who tells herself "Everything will be alright." I know a girl who lies to herself to make herself feel happier.

I know this girl all too well.

I know this girl better than her parents.

I know this girl better than her teachers.

I know this girl better than her sister.

I know this girl better than her brother's.

I know this girl better than her "Friends".

I know this girl better than her classmates.

I know this girl better than her cousins.

I know this girl better than her aunties.

I know this girl better than her uncles.

I know this girl better than her grandparents.

I know this girl better than anyone in her life.

Let me tell you about the life of this girl.

She was born on 20th March 1994.

She was born into a life where she didn't belong.

On 2nd December 2000, her parents had a fight and broke apart. This left her with a big decision. Go with her dad or stay with her mom. Of course, she picked to stay with her mum, but could only see her dad on weekends, school holidays or her birthday. Even with that rule in place, her mum never allowed her to and made it seem like her dad didn't want to meet her or made it seem like she didn't want to see her dad.

Her dad soon stopped asking to see her as he had enough of it, mainly being no.

Her mum soon fell into depression after losing her sister and her mother in a car accident.

The little girl had been bullied for so many years, yet it didn't help one bit. She slowly gained a nickname that would never leave her.

The Soulless Monster.

She would never cry. She had dull eyes as if she had lost all the lights and hope in her life. She could never smile. She could never laugh. She couldn't feel sympathy for someone else. She really was someone you could call soulless.

2005 13th February. She has only ever made one friend. Her friend was called - Pain.

When she was bullied, Pain was there.

When her teachers yelled at her, Pain was there.

When her mother hit her, Pain was there.

Pain was everywhere and anywhere in the girl's terrible situations.

She wished how she went with her dad. Her dad now had two sons with a beautiful lady, and she would soon be pregnant with her third child.

The girl wished how she could have a family like that. A dad, a mum, baby brother, baby sister and maybe even a puppy or kitten. But that happy family was a dream. But to her, if that family existed: where everyone loved them, cared for them and were friends with them. She wouldn't mind running away to be with them.

2010 20th March. Her 16th birthday.

She didn't want to be there anymore. She made that choice very clear.
