Jayde POV

"Another day."
I moan to myself as I glance at my alarm clock buzzing with '7:45' written on it.
I drag myself out of my bed and make my way to my miracle bench. (Table where I do my makeup, hair, etc.) I apply some light concealer, powder, brown liquid-eyeliner, mascara and a cream/peach lipstick. I ruffle my light brown hair with my hands as I stare into the mirror, trying to go for the 'looks good but still doesn't give a fuck' look.  I make my way down the hall passing the bedrooms of my fellow family members. As I walk into the kitchen I don't even bother to say a simple 'Hi' to my Mother, 2 sisters and my brother. And by the look on their faces as I brush passed them I don't think they want to bother with me either.
"What's that on your eyes Jayde?" My mum growls at me.
"The power of makeuuuuppp" I say sarcastically dragging out the 'up' as I wave my hands about.
"Looks a bit slutty.." I hear Scarlette mumble before scoffing her toast in her mouth.
I spit my tooth paste out into the kitchen sink over Mum's shoulder and grab my bag.
"Atleast i'm not Lilydale's most used." I say emotionless to Scarlette who is by now coughing up her toast in disgust of my brilliant, yet irrelevent comment.
"Catcha." I say with a high pitch tone, winking at Scar and completely ignoring my Mum and her abusive yelling.

Here in Australia, Lilydale we have a school uniform. Sadly, I wish I was in America everyday so I could wear casual clothing but sadly i'm stuck in this hellhole. Also we have to be at school by 8:50 when the first bell of the day rings. And right now, it was 8:48 and it was a clear 10 minute walk from my house to school. So I had plenty of time.
I didn't really care when I showed up, I mean, we had English first off for the day and year 10 subjects are just too hard for me. So why even bother?

When I finally arrive at school, I go to my locker.
The lockers all go in a row. Down the long wall. Squished up together, cramped in a tiny space. I always had trouble opening my lock, i'm not sure why. Either it hated me or it was busted. I stood there for a good 5 minutes slamming the lock upwards to hit the locker door to try to jam it open causing the classes to stop what they're doing and to see why the hell I was making such noise.
"Sorry" I whisper awkwardly, slightly shrugging my shoudlers.
I grab my books and close the locker door and go to take one step forward towards my first class but get interupted by someone tapping my shoulder causing me to jump and drop my books. I turn around to find James behind me, towering over me.
"Jesus James!" I yell.
"Late again, huh Miss  Jayde Ray?" He says while helping me pick up my books.
"I first though it was an accident you showing up late, but now I figure it's purpose. Ya scum."
I roll my eyes, turn the other way and start to walk to class. James catches up to me and finishes the walk with me. I walk straight into my classroom and just leave James standing there. He was such an asshole, he wasn't worth my time and effort.

As I close the door behind me, my class goes silent and stares at me.
"Hi" I groan as I walk to my table.
Before I sit down I notice one pair of eyes still staring at me, sitting right behind me, directly eye to eye contact we had. His gorgeous dark brown eyes looked through my soul. I should of thought it was awkward, but for some reason I was attracted to it. I finally break the eye contact and pull out my chair and sit in it.
Beth (who was sitting next to me) winked at me, obviously aware of what happened just then.

"Jayde?" The teacher yells to find if I was present.
"Here." I mumble.
"Aidan?"
"Yep." I hear a faint shout behind me. I look back to see. His voice.. was so.. god I don't even know. It was dark, but not too dark. It was just perfect, and I loved it to be honest.

The rest of the class was boring, and the rest of the day too. But finally is school came to an end. I walk to my locker with Beth talking about how our weekend was, what we got up too, all that. I reach my locker and grab my lock, spinning the center til it found it's digits. I failed the first few times, but on the last try Aidan had reached his locker too and was spinning his. The minimal area I had inbetween the locker to my left and right, was nearly impossible to breath it. So of course I had Aidan cramped up beside me, our arms touching. We were that close I could hear him breathing and it was honestly making me uncomfortable. We insyncly closed our lockers and turned our backs to leave school, and return home. I got one last whiff of Aidan's scent and left. I waved Beth goodbye and began walking home.

When I finally got home, I walked straight to the door to my room. I made quick eye contact with Mum and just raised my eye brows and kept walking. I slammed my door behind me, dropped my bag and jumped onto my bed and onto my laptop. I was talking to Beth, Chloe and Aidan. I always talk to them 3 everynight. Aidan, Beth and I could go hours non-stop without talking. And I liked that.
Time went by and it was now dinner. I sat at the table with next to Sophie, across from Scar and Liam and to the further left and right were my parents. I picked at my lamp chops, I wasn't hungry. We all made small talk with eachother. But honestly I just fucking hated my family, and I know they hated me too. I just got up and left, they were telling me to come back and to finish my dinner but I just left. Scarlette said something bitchy, Liam said something smart ass, Dad was just yelling curse words and I just moaned loudly and stomped my way to my room.
I can't stay here any longer. I'll do anything for my family gone.
