I kept hearing noises, I will admit. But i've accepted the fact that I was the only one here, so I tried to ignore it. I'll admit, of course I was extra cautious of my surroundings and every little noise was the loudest. But I managed to get through a painful, stumbly walk.

Things were getting in my head, and I didnt like it. Thoughts on where my family and friends were, little words circling my head.. and without a doubt I found myself in the middle of a public basketball court screaming, as the rain poured down my hair, face and body. I drop to my knees with my head in my hands. Crying. Hysterically.

"WHY?" I yell, "WHERE THE FUCK IS-" I cough from screaming. "EVERYONE?"

I snap my head to a voice in the distance. I hold my breath and stay silent, and still. I hear it again.
"JAYDE?" It screams back.
"JAYDE, JAYde Jayde" it says, their voice getting more calm as they get closer to me.

I still couldn't tell who it was because of the rain bucketing down diagnally making it hard for me to read out who this person is. When they were only meters away my eyes widen widely as they could be. It was Aidan.

"Ai, Ai-" I whisper walking towards him. As I reach contact with him I wrap my arms around him and pull him close to me. It felt so good to hear something real when you hear nothing but your voice for longer than a few days. It feels so good.

I realise i'm hugging Aidan and pull away awkwardly. I have so many questions for him, but I couldn't seem to say anything. I was just thrilled to be seen.
"Lets get home." Aidan says, as the waters drips down his head. We walk a few hundred metres, we weren't that far from the basketball courts. He must live close.

When we get back he goes and grabs me a towl, and sits me down on the couch oppisote his.
"So," He starts off saying.
"Do you know anyone else that is still.. here? Alive? Around?" I cut him off.
"No, ugh it's just u-"
"How long have you been like this?"
"About 8 day-" He mumbles.
I keep managing to cut him off, all these questions flowing off my tongue.

"Jayde, wait." He speaks up. "I know as much as you. I thought I was the only person alive, then I heard you screaming, so I came running. That's it."

I stayed silent.

"Why do you think we're here?" I say keeping our eyes unattached.

"No idea, maybe it's fai-" He trails off.

I stand up. "Don't you dare say it's faith. We only know eachother from facebook. We have never talked otherwise. Don't you dare start this love shit with me. I don't know you." I finish off, sitting back down wrapping my towl around myself as much as I can.

"Well," I say restarting the conversation since I ended it. "I better be off." I quickly regret saying.

As if i'd say that! Jayde you've been wanting company! Now's your chance!

"You know, you can stay here with me, I mean we don't really have any one else." He says grabbing my arm.
I shake off his grip and step away.

"We don't know eachother though Aidan." I speak ,shaking my head.

"That's why we get to know eachother.." He says stepping closer.

I look up to his brown, innocent eyes.

"Where's the spair bedroom?"
