Jimin's head was spinning from the paperwork he had on his desk.
Why was he doing this again?
His hands nervously fumbling with the pen in hand as his eyes drifted to the envelope on the opposite corner of his desk.
"Mr. Park...your wife is here to see you." Hoseok's voice startled him out of his thoughts, look snapping to the still shut door where the voice came from.
"Just a second!" he nervously fumbled as he sat up grabbing the envelope that was previously laying on his desk and hiding it in a drawer.
"Come in!" he finally called out when he was back in his chair and calmer.
"Park!" Sora barked right as she walked through the office door, slamming them behind her.
"Go out with me and Jungkook tonight! I wanna talk to you about something!" Jimin sunk back in his chair, raising an eyebrow at her odd behavior.
"Why are you so loud?"
"I'm not...loud..." she started off her voice pitch oddly high, before she calmed down.
"You're only like this when you're nervous. Is something going on?" Jimin asked, leaning on the desk, to stare her down as if trying to see through her act.
"It's...it's nothing. Just, please let's go out for dinner tonight? Please? My treat." her eyes were more pleading than her words on their own.
"Alright, but I can't stay long, you know I'm helping Y/N pack." he said, pretending as if he's going back to all the paperwork in front of him.
"Is that the code name for christening every surface of that apartment with your bodily fluids?" and she was out the door before Jimin could even register the words enough to be embarrassed.
Much later when it was time to get off of work he pulled out the envelope he hid earlier and grabbed his coat before leaving the office.
Hoseok was still at his desk and Jimin approached him leaving the envelope on his desk.
"Could you do one last thing for me and take this to Mr.Kim?" he asked, and the older male nodded with his eyes still focused on his computer screen, typing away.
Jimin gave him a tight lipped smile and walked down to the elevator.
"Was nice working with you hyung!" he called out, his back turned to Hoseok, but hand raised up to wave blindly.
Just then Hoseok's eyes moved to see the envelope he left behind and the text written in the corner.
"Resignation letter? What?" Hoseok jumped up holding the letter.
"What do you mean Park! Hey you little shit, you never call me hyung at work!"
"Work is over Hobi. At least for me." he smiled brightly at the confused male, just as the elevator door closed, blocking a string of profanities he never heard before.
Once he was finally in his car, ready to drive to the restaurant Y/N and Jungkook were at, he got a text and saw Hoseok's name on the display.
You never got the credit you deserve, but you did a good job Park. Keep working hard.
Jimin smiled at the phone, slipping it back into his pocket as a smile pulled on his lips.
