Hiiiii. Sorry for being so inconsistent and long with the updates. But I promise, and I don't break my promises often, I REFUSE to let these stories die, and I will NOT let the stories die.If I couldn't keep this promise, I wouldn't be making it.
Anywho, to the story!
________"So you didn't find him?"
"Nah, sorry Ms T. But I know we'll find that punk soon, and when we do I'll beat the ever loving sh-CRAP out of him for that stunt!"
"Okay, goodbye. Notify me if you find him."
"Yes Ma'am!" Undyne said, as Toriel hung up.
Toriel sighed as she shoved her phone in this small strange waist purse that the humans called 'fanny-packs'. Her adopted child Frisk insisted, after noticing how most of her clothing didn't have pockets. Frisk, quiet and observant as always.
Toriel shifted her attention to the large restaurant in the distance.
It was the towering height of nearly 3 stories, and as wide as a third of a city block.
Grillby worked hard at the beginning of the monster's integration into the human world, but as monster progressed and gained more right, he was able to do great things, and ended up starting a chain of restaurants and bars. But Grillby decided to stay in the first, not being one for travel.
So yes, the monster was bit busier than before, but it's still Grillby's, which meant Sans was still his #1 customer. Well, now that he pays his tab every few weeks instead of years.
Toriel made her way, with her child's hand in her's, toward the door to the establishment.
As she opened the doors, the smell of barbecue, beer, and sweets assaulted her snout. Along with the chattering of the townsfolk and the clinking and clanking of plates and cups.
Toriel made her way to the very front, pass the many tables in the establishments and the bathroom, to make it to the barstools and mini bar.
Thankfully, it wasn't to busy today, so Grillby was there cleaning the glass.
Toriel took a seat and placed her child in her lap.
When Grillby noticed that the duo required his attention, he turned to face them with a questioning look on his fiery features, somehow, at the realization that it was the old queen and her kid.
"...Ms Toriel?...What brings you...here?" He questioned with that quiet crackling voice of his.
"Well, my friend, we are looking for Sans." She said, nervously bouncing her child on her knee.
"...I'm sorry to say this, but...he is...not here...and I have not...seen him since....yesterday."
Toriel bit down on a sigh of fustration.
"Well thank you regardless."
"Wait." Grillby said, grabbing her attention once more.
Toriel turned and sat back down.
"Yes?"
"What...is going on...with Sans?...Why is...he...missing?" The fire elemental questioned with a concerned undertone. Yes, he was busy, but if Toriel said something was going on with his best customer and his friends, he'd close down the bar in a heartbeat.
"We had a little 'incident' in the park, and our friend ran away in the aftermath, and now we can't find him."
"Okay...I'm coming...just let me close down the restaurant..." Grillby said, putting down the glasses he was cleaning and was about to rush to the back to reach the speakers, when Toriel grabbed his arm to stop him.
"No, Grillby, you can't come with us. You have a whole bar to run, my friend." Toriel said gently, but with a stern expression.
"Ms Toriel...I need to go..."
"No you don't-"
"Ms Toriel, not to be rude...but...I have known Sans personally for a while longer than you have...and he have been there for me...as I was for him."
"So please...let me close down the bar...so we can go look for him." Grillby finished, almost pleading with Toriel.
Toriel sighed, giving in. Grillby was a very stubborn but smart monster, and knew just what to say to make her cow over.
"Okay. Come my friend." Toriel got up from the stool, and walked back to the front of the building and out of the door to wait for Grillby to shoo out his patrons with the speakers.
*practically a 8-10 minute time skip*
As the last of the patrons flowed out, behind them came Grillby. He flipped the sign over to 'see ya soon' and locked the door with a red key he had in his pocket.
"Okay. I am..ready." He said walking over to Toriel's side.

Whisper whoosh
There it was again!
Sans sighed in fustration as he checked out the window for bajillionth time that day.
He had been hearing weird windy whispery sounds ever since that nightmare he had. It was beginning to annoy him. If he was going to live here now, he didn't want to have to deal with that noise all the time.
Maybe it was outside?
It would probably make no sense, but he had been looking around in the house for nearly an hour and had turned up nothing that could've been making the noise.
Maybe it was outside. Sans thought as he opted to look for it around the outside of house.
Sans stepped back into the cold of Snowdin for the second time that week.
He instantly noticed that the whispering got louder.
Well damn. I was wasting my time inside when it was outside.
He thought to himself.
Sans trudged through the snow that was lightly falling. For now. Based on how much snow was already there, it was probably going to snow hard. Maybe even a blizzard. He didn't want to get buried in snow, so he decided to speed up the pace.
Maybe if he seen the strange purple vines creeping up some of the trees, he could've have avoided the worst that was to come.
