Chapter 7

After 2 days : (the marriage day)
It's 8 am and Neil and Avni are already up from sleep surrounded by their family members .
In avni's house :
Avni's two best friends are there : juhi and mitali with her little sister Pooja .and they are trying to choose a wedding wear for Avni and they are confused between the the red and silver one.
Pooja :«Avni sis please wear the red one»
Mitali:« no Avni wear the silver one it will look so sexy on you » she winked at her to tease her
Juhi :« I also think you should wear silver because red is so old fashion »
Pooja:«no it's beautiful !red!»
And they kept on throwing arguments on each other .and suddenly juhi stopped talking and made a «I have an idea » look,which made mitali and Pooja stop .
Juhi:«I have a great idea 💡 »she whispered to mitali .
Mitali :«i can see that but what is it »she whispered back
Juhi:«AVNI! you know what? I still believe that it's not a love marriage! I mean you never spoke to us about your relationship which is weird and now seeing you not even interested in choosing one of these two is making me be sure that you are not happy»
Avni became nervous and realized that she needs to say something convenient because if juhi doesn't believe something she will do a full investigation so she calmed herself .
Avni:«and what can i do to make my best friend believe that I am in love and that I am finally happy?»
Juhi :«call him»
Avni:«what??» she was hell shocked .
Juhi:«yeah call him ! He is your bf right ? So call him and ask him about the color you should wear !»
Mitali:«yeah that's a great idea ! and do not call him by his name »she winked again to tease her but Avni did not get it .
Avni:«what do you want me to call him then ?» she was irritated now.
Mitali:«by whatever you call him , baby ,babe ,my love ...! You only said that you are together and you love each other so I am sure you don't have a problem Avni!»
Avni swallowed and started breathing heavily but she had to do it after all she can't expose the reason now ,both of families are just too happy finally .
Avni:«okay! Give me my phone !»mitali and juhi high fives each other and Pooja runs to get her phone , Avni takes it and prays silently that Neil wouldn't pick up his phone .But unfortunately Neil who was in his room having his breakfast next to his father having a father-son conversation before marriage , picks it up.
Avni:«hi baby!» she said it all red of embarrassment next to her friends who were checking if she was really talking on the phone to him or not ! because they didn't ask her to put it on speaker .
on the other place , Neil literally chocked his food and his eyes widened at his father who didn't get what happened and was just rubbing his back to help him swallow the food .
Neil:«A..Avni?!!!» was it a question !!
Avni:«of course it is me baby!Why do you have anyone else to call you baby» she said it joking with him to make sure her friends believe that she loves him and is comfortable with him.
Neil:«what?! ...um.. no no of course I don't have !»he managed to speak .
Avni:«good! I just called you to ask you which color you want to see me wearing in the wedding , red or silver ?»
Neil was not getting anything and was very confused and shocked so he just kept blinking to try to understand and focus because since he picked up the call and heard her calling him baby his heart started beating fast and was feeling butterflies which is very weird to the Great business man NEIL KHANNA ,but his thoughts were cut off by her voice .
Avni:«baby? Are you still there ?»she said it cursing herself for having her two crazy friends .
Neil:«huh! Yeah I am still here .., I am actually going to wear a golden shirvani , so maybe you should wear the red one ,because you now gold and silver doesn't really...»
Avni :«okay thanks baby! See you soon »she cut the call managing her fast breathing and sweating face looking at her friends and little sister who were in a position of 3 kids listening to a happy story .
All 3:«awwwwww»
Avni:«happy?»
mitali:«he chose the silver one right ?»
Pooja :«please tell me he chose the red one »
Avni smiled at her sister and blinked as a yes .avni was then about to message him to explain what happened but too late Pooja took it from her to put it back from Where she took it , because mitali told her to put it on the charger to take photos when Avni is ready .
Neil on the other side was now alone in the balcony of his room still confused but kind of happy suddenly he heard his father call him from the room .
Prakash:«Neil your shirvani is here .»
Neil entered his room and looked at it ( it is nice he thought ). and after seeing the gold shirvani he remembered Avni and without overthinking he called her .
Avni's just finished getting ready with the legenga the makeup and the jewelry ,she was looking very gorgeous ,she was admiring the glow over her face on the mirror that her phone rang , she looked at mitali to see who Is it and as soon as she told her that it was Neil ,Avni panicked and asked to give it but she started running with it throwing to juhi and after some tries Avni took it and answered before he cuts it .
Neil:«uu...m hi !»
Avni:«hello how are you ?»
Neil:«Avni we spoke some hours ago»he chuckled!
Avni:«i know but I didn't ask you if you were fine or not!»
Neil:«oh !thanks I am fine ,and ready !what about you?»he was nervous.
Avni:«good!i am also fine and ready too! Uu..mm btw why did you call  I mean anything important ?»
Neil:«uh no just to tell you that the cars are ready and we will come soon»
Avni:«oh okay!»
Neil:«i am sorry Avni I should have met you at least once in these two days ,it will be awkward to get married ..but because of the stupid  tradition »she cut him off.
Avni:«no no ! It's not stupid it really happens when a couple meet before the maariage their married life will be ruined»
Neil:«so if I got it well! You don't want us to be unhappy ! I mean as a couple !»he got happy .
Avni:«uu...mm ! A..actually they are calling me and I have to go ,I'll meet you later »
She cut the call closing her eyes tight at her bad lie,while Neil was smiling like a fool and then trying to not smile also like a fool

well I updated before 1 week and the marriage which is the second part of this chapter I will post it in 2-3days inshallah !
