Chqpter 18

the next morning :

Neil woke up first and got faced by Avni's naked back and flashes came in his eyes,
Her underneath him holding him by his shoulders looking into his eyes deeply as if she sees the world in him .
For him it was much more than just a night , it was him showing his love to her and her giving herself to him and trusting him unconditionally .

He wanted badly to touch her back but afraid of waking her up he put the blanket from her hips on her shoulders as it was a little bit cold and still early only 6 am but for him it's not as he has work .

At 9 am :
Avni woke up and was about to get up from bed but stopped as a paint in her lower abdomen hit her , but she couldn't help that smile as Neil's memory hit her , he was so gentle and understanding he even controlled his pace for her . Knowing he is at work she got up and took a hot shower which helped with the pain a lot , feeling better she cleaned and sat watching tv as she was alone at home , she thought about calling him but the embarrassment and shyness she felt at even saying his name stopped her .

in the company :
Neil couldn't even concentrate in any of the meetings finally he is calling her .
"Hello" her voice , her sweet voice that doesn't allow him to say no to her .
"U okay ?" His voice sounded mixed of shyness and concern she just hummed as an answer .he couldn't speak further as another meeting had to happen .

In the evening :
Neil came back home to find Avni watching tv he sat in front of her receiving a kiss on his cheek.

Avni:"I'll serve you dinner !" Saying this she ran to the kitchen coming back to him with his plate .

Neil :"are you avoiding me ?"he asked her smirking .

Avni :"n..no why would I avoid you ?"

Neil suddenly held her hand and pulled her towards him sitting her in his lap making her gasp and close her eyes tight .

Neil :" what ? What happened to you ? " he asked her concerned rubbing her cheek

Avni :" u..m nothing I'm just a little bit sore " she said it looking down her cheeks blood red .

Neil :"oh ! Do you want me to put some balm !" He said it in a teasing voice but she didn't notice .

Avni was about to get up :"what ? No never !"

Neil held her tight not letting her get up :"I'm kidding ! Don't be shy! And don't worry we'll not do anything till you're okay"

Avni nodded :"actually tomorrow I'm invited to this art collection show and I thought that you would like to come with me! "

Neil :"I would love to but I swear I have so much work to do at the office !"

Avni :"it's okay ! Did shweta aunty , bebe , or Prakash uncle call you ?"

Neil :"yes she did and she told me to enjoy the 2 days left with you before they comeback  ! If you know what I mean " he winked ...,

Avni:"that's so embarrassing!"

Neil :"they just want a kid !" He said it kind of annoyed making Avni ask him back :"don't you ?"

Neil :"not any soon for sure "

Avni :"but you like Pooja ! My sister "

Neil:"she is not my kid that's why I like her ! I never even wanted to get married ! It's a lot of responsibility and kids it's even worse ! Now stop talking about this and tell me what we're you watching on tv?"

Avni nodded and spoke about the movie avoiding asking him more about kids , it's true that he never liked marriage but with her it changed so if he doesn't like children maybe it will change if he has his own , she wished and prayed he would change his mind as she always wanted to be a mother .

Precap:"Avni meeting Neil's ex girlfriend LAILA! Will it bring problems ?"
