They all went back to Hiccup's house and Valka left them alone to make dinner."So,Hiccup.Have you decided if you will become chief?"
"I-I don't know.I mean,am I ready to be chief?"
"Hiccup,to me,you are more ready than anything.You saved my life even if it meant endangering your own,you would sacrifice yourself for the greater good,that's what makes you ready."Merida looked into his emerald green eyes and smiled.Hiccup smiled back and held her hand.
"So,are you ever going to be queen?"
"Ha!Hopefully not!I wouldn't be a good queen.Im probably the exact opposite of what a quests should be!So the boys will most likely inherit the kingdom when they are old enough!"Merida explained.They both started giggling and Hiccup all of a sudden said,"Im going to be chief."Merida smiled widely and hugged him."And I'll have the most beautiful wife in the world!"Hiccup said poking Merida's cheek.Merida laughed and playfully punched his arm.
"You know,thats the arm that's hurt Mer."
Hiccup winced and closed his eyes.Merida mouthed the words Sorry and smiled.Hiccup smiled back and they just sat there smiling at eachother...
