"so how does this whole soul selling thing work?"

Wooyoung asked himself as he clicked on the sketchy link displayed in front of him.

"what the hell... oh fuck now it's frozen great." He spun around in his chair fiddling with a pencil he picked up off his desk, occasionally staring at the slow loading screen on his computer.

For a second everything seemed to freeze. Not exaggerating or anything but more than just his slow computer was at a stand still. The sun seemed to stop shining, his lungs tightened and he could hear screams echoing around him.

"Mr. Jung?"

There was no slow computer in front of him anymore. That wooden pencil he was fiddling with was gone. Stood in front of him was a short, slim lady with a pantsuit on.

"what happened?"

That day was still a blur for Wooyoung. His biggest wish came true but he lost everything he had. His friends, his house, his mum. It was all replaced. A part of him thinks fake friends, a big house, and a money hungry mum was all worth it to stop being poor little Jung Wooyoung, but he wishes he could get it all back.

"Wooyoung." He felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked up in the mirror to see who was standing behind him.

"Oh. Hey Yuri."
Yuri was Wooyoung's only real friend. His real name wasn't Yuri. He told him that the day they met the rest of the cast.

Yunho was his real name. He loved Yunho with his full heart... or whatever pieces of his heart he had left. He was the only true companion Wooyoung had since he sold himself.

No one ever told Wooyoung selling his soul would keep this flash in his eye permanently or that he'd lose the things he loved most, but it was his decision. It's not like selling your soul comes with an instruction manual or a terms and conditions page.

"What's wrong woo?" Yunho asked sliding his arm around the male.

"Nothing. Let's go over lines."

Yunho nodded and started to read, but got distracted by the glow in Wooyoung's eyes. It was brighter than usual so it caught his attention.

"What's up with that gleam in your eyes? It's always there."

Wooyoung quickly covered his eye and made up some excuse.

"I don't know. It's been there since I was a kid. I hate it."

"It's brighter than the lighting in this room now. Do you know why?"

"No. It just randomly sparkles."

"Hmm. Okay."

The two continued to recite lines until the director called for them to do their scene. He was starring in a psychological thriller. Honestly he didn't know why people would think this odd movie would be the highest grossing movie of this year. It's probably because of the director. Lee DongWon is a well known director in South Korea, so everyone expects it to be the greatest movie ever, but just because the director can yell at the cast pretty well doesn't mean the movie is going to be good. He has faith in it, but saying it'll be the highest grossing film is a stretch.

The Uber finally dropped san off after they'd been driving for ten minutes. He was going to turn his application in while his mum went to get a new car.
