Hmmm... A strawberry doughnut or a chocolate one? Decisions, decisions...

A blonde-haired girl stood in front of a vitrine, head tilted to one side. Her brows furrowed, she was annoyed by her indecisiveness.

"So have you already decided?" an irritated seller told her. In reality, he was trying his best not to snap at the girl. Behind her was a long queue and the people in it were not happy.

"Oh, I'll take the chocolate one."

"Damn, I should have taken the strawberry one," she grumbled. She sat on a bench near a park where she ate her doughnut.

I'm so happy I have a day off, I was going insane from all that work. It is exhausting to work as a nurse.

"Mum? Mum?" the woman turned her head around. She saw a young child, no less than 7. He was crying and calling for his mother, which he must have lost moments ago.

"Hello, what's wrong?" She crouched down and looked straight into his eyes. He stopped crying for a moment and hiccuped a few words out of his mouth.

"Mum... Lost.."

"You lost your mum? Don't worry, we'll find her soon enough. What's your name?" She extended a hand and he hesitated. She smiled at him warmly, which made him take it.

"H-Harry..."

"What a beautiful name. Mine's Taurus."

__________

"Argghhhh..." he sighed out and gripped his hair tightly.

"Why isn't it working?! What a stupid piece of-" he caught himself before he cursed. He leaned against his chair, his limbs falling still. He closed his eyes.

"Really... And I'm supposed to be a genius. Just because I'm the smart one, right..." He though out loud out of habit. He laughed and slammed the camera he was trying to repair against a wall. Some would say he has anger issues, but that's not the case. His girlfriend dumped him for silly reasons and this is a camera she left behind. They weren't in a relationship for long, only for 3 months, but they moved their relationship too fast.

I'm glad I didn't like her that much, or I would've been more stressed about it.

__________

"Good morning, what would you like?" She asked nicely to her costumer.

"Ahh, good morning young lady. My wife and I are having an anniversary. Fiftieth one. What flowers would you recommend?" An older man addressed her.

They have been together for that long? What a lucky woman. She thought for a second. She pouted but after a while started picking flowers and arranging them together into a bouquet. It was a massive one. Bright and elegant.

"I'm impressed. I've never seen such a stunning bouquet. What flowers did you put in there?"

"This is anemone, a flower that is often given on anniversaries. This one is freesia, its sweet scent is perfect to help you relax. I also put in a few of gerbera daisies and sweet peas. And last but not least, roses. They are common in bouquets and it's no brainer why. I chose light pink ones so it looks pure," she finished covering it with paper and handed it to the man.

"You like flowers a lot, don't you?" He smiled at her. She averted their eye contact and sighed deeply.

"We all have to make a living somehow and I chose this."

__________

What a beautiful day. He thought as he walked down the street. He wanted to clear his head and walk in such nice weather was perfect for it. He turned around a corner where he saw a commotion going on. People were cheering on comedians, which put up a show for them. He joined them and decided to watch for a while.

"And now ladies and gentlemen, you'll see this gorgeous woman walk into this coffin full of spikes. By the time I open it, she'll disappear. Like pooof." The announcer with a mask on moved his arms around exaggeratedly. He seemed excited.

Such a common trick from magicians. Can't they invent a new one? People seemed to be enjoying the show, but something caught his eye. In the shop next to him, there was a suspicious movement.

He walked closer and opened the front door. It was quiet. Too quiet. He took a step forward, his heartbeat quickening by every second that passed. Thud! He whipped his head towards the sound. On the floor behind him laid a necklace with a big diamond. He walked towards it, not noticing creepy shadows looming behind him. He swiftly turned around, but he wasn't fast enough. His whole body was smashed onto the floor and he thought that the immense strength would crush his whole body. He wheezed out for air.

"What the fuck Sag?! You can't even hold a fucking necklace without it slipping out of your bloody hands?!" an angry voice behind him softly shouted.

"Shut up!"

"Hush, both of you. We don't want anyone finding us, do we?" The grip on him tightened.

"You are going to crush him Pinkie Pie. Take it easy on him, not everybody is as strong as you," a cheeky voice said. He saw someone crouch in front of him. He looked at the face of this person. Her hands were folded into her lap and she smiled at him softly.

"What do you think you are doing here?" She asked calmly, but he couldn't help but notice the eerie glint her eyes held.

"What, are you interrogating him or something?" His breath hitched in his throat. He was surrounded by four people with no chance of escape. He felt goosebumps appearing on his skin.

"Who are you, people? What are you doing here? What are you going to do to me?" His questions were left unanswered. There was a pause for a few minutes.

"Who do you think you are to ask us questions?" he wanted to answer but before he could, he felt a painful blow on his head. His vision started blurring, the image of the girl in front of him disappearing. Within seconds his turquoise eyes closed.
