Jenna sighed as she walked into her kitchen. Wearing a pair of stretchy shorts and a baggy t shirt she was sure was from ex boyfriend's posts. A messy bun flopping side to side at the top of her head.

Walking over to her kitchen counter she opened the cabinet door. Pulling out her teal green Yeti Tumblr she filled it with ice. After topping it off with sweet tea she closed it.

Walking over to her kitchen table she pulled the chair out before flopping down into it. Looking at the Mac Book in front of her she sighed.

At the age of 28 she was home on a Friday night?! It's not like she had a husband! Not like she had a boyfriend! Hell its not even like she had any kids!! No what did she have? A 7 page paper due by Sunday night before midnight and she hasn't even started it till now. She sighed rubbing her hands up and down her face before focusing on the laptop screen in front of her.

7 months. She had 7 months! She kept reminding herself. In 7 months she would have her Nurse Practitioner license. Well maybe. Maybe if she didn't toss her laptop out her kitchen window and then go outside and stomp on it for good measure.

No Jenna.. No. she muttered to herself. Focus on this paper! It needs done! Do your paper! Your almost done! Focus. Opening the book she sighed as she began reading. Only to be disturbed with her phone vibrating beside her.

She picked it up seeing it was a text message from her baby sister Paige. Jenna and Paige were 6 years apart in age. Even though age didn't stop them. They were as close as sisters as sisters could be. Even though when they fought you could swear you felt the Earth move.

Paige: Hey! Mom kept the baby tonight! Drinks at the Brew House sound amazing! Please and thank you!!

Jenna giggled as she finished reading the text message. Paige had become a first time mom at just 20. Of course not by someone worthy in Jenna's eyes. So she had quickly became a single mom rather fast. Jenna played her role well as the doting aunt to her 10 month old niece Sienna. The little girl had her wrapped.

Jenna thought about it before she texted back. She needed to get this paper done. Then she thought well she did have all weekend. Paige didn't get out of the house much. Mostly at home with Sienna. Ugh! Jenna screamed. Closing the lid on her laptop. Then she picked up the phone and began typing.

Jenna: Okay fine! But I can't be out all night! I have a paper to write!!! Meet you there?

Little did she know that this judgement would surely change the rest of her life as she knew it
