Chapter 6

To say I slept like a baby would be a lie. I had to deal with dad calling me every minute. I was so pissed I broke my phone. Don't play around with someone's sleep that's not cool.
Morning came by pretty fast and I had knocking on the door. Who is it this time? I dragged myself out of bed and went to open the door. Before I could cuss them out I was tackled to the floor with a hug. Ellie.
Ellie and I have been friends since highschool. She had left for Europe to go to Oxford, I hadn't seen her for a while now though we talked over the phone.

E. Hey boo I missed you.

Me. Girl you almost broke my back what have you been eating

E. Them European foods been doing me bad I'll visit the gym soon.

Me. Nah you perfectly fine. Now come on in.

E. Damn girl you house beautiful

Me. I know. I was about knock you out cold before you tackled me to the ground.

E. You been sleeping. I know your ass was asleep.

Me. Exactly.

I was still sleepy so I tried to go back to bed, key word tried, Ellie dragged me out saying she was taking me out to some place I didn't know. I put on black skinny jeans and a black tank top I paired it with a lime green leather jacket and lime green wedged ankle boots. I didn't do any makeup I was so tired I was afraid I will gauge my eye out while trying to apply mascara. That was a risk I wasn't taking
Ellie took me to the mall saying that she needed American clothes, walking around the mall of Manhattan in wedges was the worst form of torture my feet felt like they were going to burn off literally.
Me. Please I think I'm dying

Ellie. *scoffs* Yea right take me to Victoria Secret

Me. Hell no

Ellie. Please, Dave and I are going out to night, he says it's a surprise so I wanna seduce him while we are it

Me. No. Who is Dave

Ellie. Please I'll buy you food and I'll tell you who Dave is?

Me. Food, finally I thought you'll never say it. Fine this is the last store.

Ellie. Yay come on

She practically dragged me there.
Ellie was yapping about how she didn't know what to buy and on the other hand was so hungry I started to see things.

Me. Are you done

Ellie. No, come help me and I'll help you,

Me. No I'm fine right here

I said plopping on the couch at the store.

Ellie. No no no you getting something.

Me. I don't need it

Ellie. You may not need it now but in future you will

Me. You and your nasty brain

Ellie. I know come

By the time we were done I almost vowed to become a sister and devote my life to God and the church. Okay I may have exaggerated a bit.

We arrived at the food court and I ordered junk food and so did Ellie. Me and my food... Hell food was my first love and it will always be.

I ate like I just came from a hunger strike. By the time I was done I felt as though I was gonna pass out. Then I remembered, Dave, oh Ellie wasn't getting out of this without telling me who Dave was

Me. Now who's Dave

Ellie choked on whatever that was in her mouth

Ellie. Dave..... His my boyfriend

Now it was my turn to choke in nothing

Me. Boyfriend and you didn't tell me

Ellie. I'm sorry I wanted it to be a surprise

Me. Oh I'm surprised alright.
I was about to continue reprimanding Ellie when a throat was cleared behind me.
When I turned around I was met with a very familiar s**y man.
