This day could not have gotten any worse, Y/N thought to herself as she woke up yet again. She rolled over and saw that it was four in the morning. This is the third time I’ve woken up in the past five minutes! Deciding that sleep was no longer an option, Y/N slowly sat up and slid her legs over the side of the bed.

Standing on her two unbalanced feet, she made her way to her bedroom door. Peeking her head out, Y/N looked for any sign of her father. Once she saw that he was nowhere in sight, she quietly made her way down the hall and into the living room. Y/N sat down on the couch and pulled her phone out of her pocket, deciding to text her ‘uncle’.

Y/N: Hey Uncle Mic, are you awake?

Turning off her phone, Y/N walked into the kitchen to get a bottle of water. She pulled a bottle from the fridge and sat back down. Her phone lit up with a notification.

Uncle Mic: Sure am kiddo. What’s up??

Y/N picked it up and typed her response.

Y/N: I don’t feel well but I don’t want to wake dad up

A few seconds passed before Hizashi responded.

Uncle Mic: Aww, I’m sorry. If you don’t feel well then go wake up your dad. He won’t mind. What’s wrong? Does anything hurt?

Y/N: My stomach feels off and I think I’m running a fever.

Y/N: Dad won’t be happy if I wake him up. You know how he is…

Y/N wrapped her arms around her stomach, suddenly feeling sick. Once her stomach settled back down, she picked her phone back up.

Uncle Mic: He’ll understand kiddo. If you don’t feel well and don’t want to wake up Shouta, then try and catch a few z’s

Y/N: I tried that. I can’t sleep.

Uncle Mic: Hang in there kiddo--

Y/N didn’t get to read the rest of the message for she was about to be sick. Sprinting down the hall and into the bathroom, she dropped her head over the toilet and the contents of her stomach left her. Footsteps rushed down the hall and Shouta Aizawa appeared in the doorway. Once he realized what was going on, he dropped down beside his daughter and pulled her hair away from her face, speaking to her softly.

“Shh,” he soothed, using one hand to hold her hair and the other to rub Y/N’s back. When she was finished, Y/N flushed and leaned back against her father, crying.

“It is alright,” Aizawa whispered, hugging his daughter. “It’s over now.”

After several minutes Y/N finally calmed down to the point of silent tears falling every now and then.
