This is one of my greatest hates.
This hate isn't specifically about Michael's, just that that's the craft store that I usually go to.
Usually whenever I go to Michael's , I usually have to buy drawing pencils.
But NOO! I always come out with a million different things other than pencils.
I know that I'm not the only one that suffers this, so I gave it a name.Having-to-but-everything-at-Michael's-tosis
You know you suffer from it.
This is the thing that happens when ever you walk into a Michael's, then you end up buying everything.
STAGE ONE- You walk into a Michael's.
STAGE TWO- You get to your destination, where the item you need is.
STAGE THREE- You notice something. Could it be? Stickers are 50 cents today! You grab about ten.
STAGE FOUR- You look at what else is for sale. Oh look! Colored pencils! Better get a pack of those.
STAGE FIVE- You see cute scrapbook paper. Hey, it could be used for something. You grab twenty pieces, because it is so cute.
STAGE SIX- You see the sketchbooks and drawing pencils. It goes with your colored pencils! You get one of each.
STAGE SEVEN- Wow, yarn is on sale? I am going to knit the cutest scarves, like ever.
STAGE EIGHT- You see cute little containers and crayons. Didn't you read somewhere that you can make crayon lipstick? You get them.
STAGE NINE- Oh look, embroidery floss! I'm like, totally going to embroider all my jeans.
AND FINALLY, STAGE TEN- You head to check out. Wow. 150 dollars? Whoa. I guess it's worth it.
Vote if this ever happens to you.
