Lil was scared by the sound. She'd never heard someone scream like that before and she hadn't seen someone get hurt. She panicked, went into her mother's room, where she locked the door and called her boyfriends' cell phones. "Call me!" she begged. "If you can hear me, call me. They're going to kill me!"
"I could hear them. And I could smell them," Lil recalls. "I wasn't really scared about it, but I was scared of being alone." She prayed to God. "You know what I'm saying?" she recalls asking. "Please help me. Please help me."
