Name: Sky Redwing

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Height: 5 foot 4 inches

Weight: 138 pounds.

Hair: Golden Blonde, goes down to his neck, he does not have bangs. His hair goes well with man buns. But he also has black hair, when his powers are on the more negative side of the spectrum.

Powers: He has the power to heal any creature or person if they are in physical contact with him while he is doing the action. Or on the side of that; he can make life around him decay and wither, sapping the energy from them. He was originally born with the decay but somehow sparked the healing flame.

The downside to healing is the lack of energy. When healing people or animals, he uses his energy storages to fuel it. And when he is depleted, he can not do any healing. Or anything for the matter as he will pass out from it. The energy that is being generated for healing, it is generated by positive emotions and actions. For example, if he sings and enjoys it, he will gain a energy boost from it which may or may not make him activate his healing power.

When he is decaying, it runs on another type of energy. This energy is generated from negative emotions and thoughts that he has made. When he uses his decaying power, he will open himself up to attacks and will (if used for to long) cause depression and anger issues later on in the future.

With healing, his hair glows a bright gold and when he decays, his hair turns to pitch black with green sparks in the strands.

Backstory:

Sky was born with a gift, or a curse if you can call it that. The gift of ending the life of anything around him by sapping the energy out of it. When he was younger he couldn't touch anyone, and when he did he always fearing that his power may strike and harm those around him. As he developed the power, he figured out it was tied to his emotion. And so, for years he started experimenting with it. Trying to figure out the missing information on his life that he has yet to learn. But when his emotions became to out of control, the power sapped the soul and life out of people he cares dearly for. His mother and father, his brother and sister. All of them had been affected by the dark magic that he radiates.

So as they lay in a hospital bed, his brothers body practically decaying, he figured out the second portion to his power. A power he did not know he was capable of having. He had the power to heal. So as he sat by his elder brothers bed, he had started to weep and cry, the emotional stability he had gained in that moment of clarity after he hurt his parents crumbled. His hair having been dark for a majority of his life, started to glow. A single strand of hair started to glow, looking as if it was a pathway of light. It started at the root of the strand and moved to the ending. And when that finished, others followed until his hair looked as if an energy current was running through it.

His sobs only increasing due to the confusion of the whole situation, the hair glowing brighter with the surge of adrenaline that pumped through his veins. And, sooner or later, his veins started to glow, starting from his heart and moving to his hands and legs. But the strangest part is that it didn't stop at his hands end, it continued onto the hand of the brother he was losing. His brothers veins, starting from the hand that the younger brother touched, started to glow. Moving like a bolt of lightning through his body. As this happened; wherever the golden veins touched, the skin and bone that had been damaged started to mend themselves.

But, he only had enough control over it to save his brother. His mother father and sister were unable to be healed and died in their hospital beds two hours later.

So, years later. Sky now has some control over both his good and dark side, but as he aged he found that his healing side was easier to access. Which he wasn't complaining about. Sometimes, he and his brother talk about it, trying to decipher what happened that night that changed their lives forever.

Personality:

Due to using his powers of decay at such an early age, his mental state is not very stable. He is leaning more towards depression. When he is in a group of people, he will not talk to anyone and when he does the talking may result in a dark joke coming out here or there. But, as you talk with him more and learn about his past he starts to slowly open up. Resulting in a still mildly depressed but broken kid that only wants the love and hospitality he lost due to his power.
