Chapter 1
Information about myself:
I am 20 years old I got singed to my record label when I was 18 after posting covers on youtube. That's where it all started for me, I wanted to get out of the hell hole I used to call home up until I left for music university in London and got spotted in the middle of the music scene while performing one night. I also knew these awesome guys called Joel and Ryan they went to the same uni as me, they were in a band called Lawson with two other lads called Adam and Andy. They were amazing guys and at what they do. You had knew Joel since you were 13 because you moved to Nottingham with your mum, of course I protested but I'm glad she made me go, I wouldn't have met Joel otherwise. It was one of the very few things she said 'Was for my own good' that actually was.
See before I met Joel I was falling off the rails, my mum only cared about her boyfriends, yuup I said boyfriends. She was a prostitute and was always drunk and bringing different guys home every night, I would have to sit there at night and listen to the 'sounds' since I was 9. They only thing that kept me going was me and my guitar my dad had given it to me before he passed away. It was worn and tired but I didn't care it was the only reminder I had of him and the only thing that kept me from completely falling off the rails. No one knew I played the guitar not even Joel, and considering he was the closest person I had and was proud to call him apart of my family and even he didn't know, I can actually play the guitar, drums, bass and piano.
Anyway back to reality, I was now on my UK Arena tour with the one and only Lawson, who got singed shortly after me to the same record label as me. We see each other everyday are on the line up for a load of the same gigs and it is so god to be with my best friends during the journey of my lifetime and theirs.

We are in the tour bus travelling to the last venue, which is the O2 Arena in London. The tour has been amazing and then after the tour finishes me and the lads are playing at Wembely Stadium for the Capital FM Summertime Ball. We arrived at the O2 and there were hundreds of fans waiting outside I was wearing sweats and my hair up in a messy bun on top of my head and no make up on, but my extended family (fans) could see me like this, they all appreciated me for who I was after twitter trolls targeted me and told me I was ugly, and fat. They and the Lawson lads helped me through it. I hopped off the tour bus as soon as the doors were opened by security The fans screamed and ran towards us as I knew they would never hurt me or people that I cared deeply about, so security was always at a minimum..
After 2 hours of meeting the fans, taking pictures, talking and got given loads of presents, me and the boys headed inside for sound check. Obviously a few lucky fans got to come and see the sound check. Sound check was one of my favourite things about preparing for the tour, meeting the fans was the main reason because it is more intimate but also doing a load of covers with the boys. I always have a laugh when doing them. Before sound check we got to check out our dressing rooms and relax while the fans made their way into the arena. We all sat around reading the fan letters we got given today and it was one of my favourite parts of the jobs other than performing, it gave me a special connection with the fan who sent it and I would always respond to them no matter how long it took. I would spend a whole day every month trying to sing as much of it as I got during the whole month in total.
I was sat next to Joel with my head on his lap, while we all joked about and read our fan mail. I got through alot and singed whatever they wanted and replied to some with letters. One girl sent in a message and it touched my heart and I knew what I had to do. The letter read;
Dear Tasha,
I love you so much, you have helped me through so much. You music inspires me and I want to learn how to play guitar as I can then follow in the footsteps of my idol. You helped me through the struggle f my parents divorcing, my mums new boyfriend abusing me and my horrible long school days of bullying. You have helped me so much and I would love to be able to give something back to you and I feel learning how to play guitar would be the perfect way to take my love for your music to the next level. Only my mum won't buy me a guitar as she thinks I'm going through a 'phase', and if she gets me it I'll love it and once I get bored it will be put in a corner and forgot about. I know that won't happen, I've seen how passionate you are about music and it's infectious and now music is my life.
