But back to the fanfic, the name "Nikki" (it is also my name LOL) sometimes "Nicky" is Sonic's "civilian name" in the japanese manga so that's were I got it from ⬇️

*Amy's POV*
I was on my way to Tails to hear his, "great idea," he had.
'If it's a useless or broken invention I'm going to lose my mind,' I thought irritated at the last time he made one.
The last one made Sticks full feral even though it was supposed to do the opposite... It caused quite a bit of leftover anger and irritation.
"Hey Ames!" I hear before a sudden rush of wind came in front of me. It was Sonic of course.
"Hey, lemme guess, Tails."
"Tails."
We said it at the same time laughing as we realized. I just walked in silence after, silently wishing he'd pick me off my feet and "woosh" us there. Not for the sake of the time or speed, but the thrill. The trill of going "sonic-speed" and having our bodies close together and feeling my heartbeat thump rapidly against his.
Then we were at Tails front door.
Sonic stepped in front of me and opened the door while gesturing his arm outwards. "Pretty ladies first~" The way he said it made me laugh, he used a fancy accent, my laughter and secret crush caused me to blush as I entered.
"Hey you guys!" Tails called out to us, Knuckles and Sticks were behind him on the couch, the former looking confused the latter looking quite angry.
"Hi... Sticks." I had to force a smile. I was the one who knocked her out cold to change her back so she was angry at both me and Tails.
"I hope you know I'm better..." The venom in her words made a back up into Sonic. "C'mon Sticks, she just wanted the best version of you back, what's a girl without a best friend." Sonic's words almost went mute to my ears because I was focused on him holding me in his arm on my left shoulder with him on my right-RIGHT up against me! AGAINST ME!
Suddenly Sticks looked like she was about to cry, then out of nowhere she had me in a tight embrace.
I was so close to having a heart attack, with Sonic's recent actions to Sticks' current actions.
