Ch. 8: Rescue Training

(F/N's POV)

Back in the classroom for yet another day. As always, the first few classes of the day were pretty dull and everyone was just waiting for hero basic training.  

Aizawa: "For today's hero basic training its turned into a class with three instructors, All Might, myself, and one other person."

Sero: "Um, what're we doing, exactly?"

Aizawa: "Preparing you for disaster relief. Disasters, shipwrecks, and everything in between. It's rescue training." 

He said all this as he held up a card that read "Rescue." Was the card really necessary?

Kaminari: "Rescue, huh...sounds like another rough day."

Mina: "Right!"

F/N: "What a drag."

Kirishima: "Come on, this is what being a hero's all about! I'm pumped!"

F/N: "How can you always be so upbeat and optimistic? Sounds exhausting."

Tsuyu: "I'll be right at home in a flood. Ribbit."

Aizawa: "Hey, I'm not done. It's up to you whether or not you wear your costumes. As some of them are ill-suited to this sort of activity. The training will take place off-campus, so we're taking a bus. That's all. Get ready."

He hit a button to reveal the shelves holding our hero costumes as he began to walk away. Everyone got up from their desks and retrieved their hero costumes and met out front when we all got changed. Midoriya was wearing his gym uniform along with his suit accessories. 

Uraraka: "You wore your gym clothes, Deku? Where's your costume?"

F/N: "Yeah, what gives?"

Midoriya: "It didn't make it through battle training in one piece. The school's support company is repairing it. Just gotta wait for now."

Tenya stood in front of the bus and blew into a whistle he had tied around his neck to get the class's attention.

Tenya: "Class 1-A, gather round! Line up according to your I.D. numbers. Fill those seats in an orderly fashion!"

Midoriya: "Iida's going full throttle."

F/N: "You made him class rep after all. Now he has all this authority. Although, he would act like this regardless," I said while shrugging my shoulders.

We piled on to the bus and were on our way to USJ. The bus seats were arranged completely different than what Tenya had imagined so his plan was thrown out the window. He sat with his head held low. 

Tenya: "Shoot. I didn't think it'd be this type of bus."

Mina: "There was no point, huh?"

I sat on Tenya's left and Mina was on his right. Aoyama and Kaminari were to the right of Mina. Midoriya, Tsuyu, Kirishima, and Sato sat across from us.

F/N: "No need to stress, Tenya. You have to learn to go with the flow."

Tsuyu: "I generally say what's on my mind, Midoriya."

Midoriya: "Oh? What is it, Asui?"

Tsuyu: "Call me Tsuyu."

Midoriya: "Right."

Tsuyu: "Your quirk resembles All Might's."

Midoriya got real uptight and sweaty after she said that. He was always jumpy, but this felt different.
