(F/N's POV)
We finally made it to the end of the school day, the same day Mr. Aizawa told us about the sports festival. My classmates and I were packing up, got our backpacks, and were ready to leave when we found a mob of other students waiting at the door for us. Uraraka stood in front with Tenya, Midoriya, and I close behind.
Uraraka: "What's going on?"
Tenya: "What business do you have with Class A?"
Mineta: "What'd you come here for, anyway?"
Bakugo walked forward until he was in front.
Bakugo: "They're scoping out the competition, small fry. We're the kids who survived a villain attack. Makes sense they'd want a look before the sports festival."
Mineta was shocked by the insult and Midoriya leaned down to try and comfort him.
Midoriya: "This is Kacchan on a good day."
F/N: "You really grew up with this guy?"
Some of the other students looked nervous as he approached.
Bakugo: "There's no point in doing stuff like that. Out of my way, extras!"
The others jumped at his insult, including Tenya.
Tenya: "Can we please not resort to calling those we don't know 'extras'!"
F/N: "Nah, for once I agree with the spiky blonde one. Get out of the way, now."
Tenya: "F/N, we must conduct ourselves in such a manner."
A kid in the back spoke up and came forward through the crowd. He had messy purple hair and tired eyes like he barely got any sleep for a whole week.
???: "I came to see what the famous Class A was like, but you sure are arrogant. Are all the kids in the hero course like this?"
Bakugo didn't like any of that. Everybody else shook their hands as if to tell the purple haired kid to stop while he was ahead.
???: "Gotta say, I'm a little disillusioned if this is what you're offering. Those of us who didn't make the hero course are stuck in general studies and the other tracks. They're are quite a few of us. Did you know that? Depending on the results of the sports festival, they might consider transferring us to the hero course. And it seems they may also transfer people out."
Some classmates got nervous at hearing that. I stood next to Bakugo looking at the purple haired guy as he scanned the faces of our classmates.
???: "Scoping out the competition? As a general studies kid like me this'll be the perfect chance to knock you off your pedestals. Consider this a declaration of war."
A kid further back in the mob jumped up and began yelling loud. He had messy gray hair and weird markings around his eyes. Unlike the purple haired kid, he was loud and boisterous.
Loud Kid: "Hey, hey! I'm from Class B next door! I heard you fought against villains, so I came to hear 'bout it! Don't get so full of yourself! If you bark too much, it'll be embarrassing for you durin' the real fight!"
F/N: Jeez, what's with these guys?
Bakugo silently walks through the group without giving them a second look.
Kirishima: "Wait a minute, Bakugo! What're you gonna do about all this? Now it's your fault that everyon's hating on us!"
Bakugo turned back to look at Kirishima and the rest of us.
