When the path ignites a soul, there's no remaining in place. The foot touches ground, but not for long. - Hakim Sanai

Terra was restless and as far as the matter went, so were the others. They kept on feeling like something was off in their lives, missing almost. Something was tugging on them to move, to look, to find what was calling out to them. None of them had confided to the others about these feelings, but they all knew that something had to be done soon or else they'd all go bonkers.

As each day went by, the tugging sensation got more urgent and persistent. It would stop them from sleeping some nights. It had effected their final grades in school this year. It even made it impossible for them to concentrate on their Blading most days because it always seemed to get worse while they were in the Bey Dish. As a result of it, they were starting to lose more and more of their sparring matches with their others friends. Said friends noticed it as well and confronted them about it. This had been going on for the last six months.

But today, they were just lounging quietly at Terry's place. They were tired; the heavy, dark rings under their eyes could testify to that. Jay and Kayla were on the verge of falling asleep again. Terra was staring blankly up at the ceiling. Even Terry, regular jokester of the group, couldn't seem to find the energy to do or say anything even remotely funny at the moment. Today would mark exactly two weeks where they'd gone over to one of their houses and just sat around quietly, doing absolutely nothing. It was starting to worry their surviving parents.

Terra was pondering why it appeared that all four of them were hit with the lack of mobility at the exact same time. She knew why she was immobile right now. That stupid feeling of needing to go find something that was meant to be hers; that was what was bothering her. Could Terry, Kayla and her brother also be suffering from that as well? The thought was enough for her to voice it to the others in the room.

"Say.... Do any of you feel like you're meant to be somewhere else right now, finding something?" She asked lazily. The question was enough to snap the others out of their own thoughts.

"Yea, I feel like I should be down South, somewhere in the Prairies. How about you?" Terry stated.

"I feel like I should be up North, running around on the Tundra." Terra said. Jay and Kayla, also feeling the tugging, spoke up as well.

"I feel like I need to go the Western Coast." Kayla said in her usual manner.

"The East Coast.... I feel like something's calling me to go there." Jay stated, paying closer attention to the tugging. Terra was silent for a few moments before speaking again.

"I doubt that our parents will ever agree to let us go somewhere by ourselves when none of us are of age, especially by ourselves." She said disappointingly.

"Maybe if we could get them to agree to take us to where we need to go, even if we all can't go as one big group.... We just need them to agree to take each of us to those places." Terry voiced the thought.

"We need to do research for that. We just can't travel willy-nilly across the country looking, hoping that we'll come across whatever it is that's calling out to us. We need a definite spot before they'll agree to that." Kayla said, picking up on the idea quickly.

"Well, we all know the directions we need to go in, so that's a start. Does your computer still connect to the net, Terry?" Jay asked.

"Yea, but it's really slow." Terry replied with a wince.
