Chapter 3 - (New Friends and Captured)

"We need to help them," said Katey."If we don't help they could get hurt or killed."

"How? There's just dead trees and vines." Mylee asked.

"We can make a rope with the vines and connect a branch to it." Raylie told everyone.

"It could be a grappling hook, but it has to be very long and we don't have a lot of time. It looks like they are about to fall." Megan replied.

"YEAH! CAN YOU HELP US? WE CAN'T HOLD ON FOR MUCH LONGER, AND IF YOU DON'T HURRY WE WILL BE A PUDDLE OF WHATEVER IS IN US!"The boy yelled.

They worked as fast as possible.

"Hand me some more vines and branches." Katey shouted.

Soon they were done.They threw the grappling hook. It landed right above the boy and girl.

"GRAB THE ROPE AND TIE THE ROPE AROUND YOU." Katey yelled.

"DON'T WORRY I CAN DO IT BECAUSE I'M STRONGER THAN SHE IS!" The boy yelled back.

The boy tied the rope around himself but the girl couldn't hold on. She fell down the cliff. She was at least 500 feet in the air and she would never survive the fall. All of a sudden she stopped falling. The wind blew the girl down the cliff while the boy climbed down. Soon they were at the bottom.

"Did you do that?" Katey asked Mylee and Raylie.

Katey had heard in books that elves have magic. Mylee and Raylie shook their heads.

"Then who did it?"

"What is your name?" asked Raylie.

" I'm Taylor, and this is my little brother Liam." the girl said.

Taylor looked around Katey's age and Liam looked like he'd be the same age as Megan. Taylor had short brown hair and green eyes, and Liam had brown hair and black eyes.

"Tell us what happened." Megan said.

Taylor and Liam were in their room looking for a story to read. Tucked in the books they found a mirror that had some weird writing on. Then they were in the Enchanted Forest at a gate where they met Olaf and got directions. Soon they were on top of a cliff. Liam slipped and Taylor caught him but then they were dangling on the cliff hanging on a big tree root. They couldn't pull themselves back up but then they arrived and saved them.

"Thank you for saving us," Taylor said.

"Your welcome." Megan replied.

"So you are from Earth too, and need to get home so you could come with us. We are trying to find Queen Alli's castle so we could go to the portal and go home." Katey asked.

"Yes please." Liam said. "We have been trying to look for the castle but Taylor is the worst with finding things. No offense Taylor."

"Wait. You trust them already but you didn't trust Mylee and Raylie till you figured out that they could help us find the castle." Megan accused.

Nobody spoke.

"Megan. I never told you that. I was saying that in my head." Katey said.

They decided to keep walking and forget about this but none of them could. They had been walking for days now only getting at least three hours of sleep.

"Mom is going to freak out when she notices that we are gone." Liam said.

Katey, Megan, Liam, and Taylor agreed.

"Time is different here."Mylee replied."Two weeks here might be one minute there, so there is no reason to worry."

They continued walking. Mylee and Raylie told them about the Enchanted Forest and a few hours later the ground started shaking. A big group of knights on horses came and they looked really evil. Their hoods were darker than the midnight sky, and the black armour they wore had stains that looked like blood.

"I don't have a good feeling about this." Taylor whispered.

The knight in the front said,"By the order of the queen you are now prisoners."

"Not without a fight." Raylie replied.

Mylee and Raylie both took daggers out.

"Yeah you can't just tell us we have to go with you. By the way, that amour doesn't look good on you." Mylee said.

"If you want nobody to get hurt then you will put down your weapons and follow us."The knight said.

They didn't put down their weapons. Katey was kind of hoping that they would put down their weapons. She was worried about who ever they would hurt.

"Your choice."

The knights attacked Megan! They started to hit her legs and her arms with their swords. Then Megan blacked out. Of course they would attack Megan. Why didn't she think of that sooner, but Katey had to make the knights stop.

"STOP HURTING MY SISTER!" Katey screamed then the knights stopped. It was easy to convince them then Katey thought

"Follow us or we will hurt that little boy that is acting like he is tough but isn't, next." the knight said.

"But I am tough." Liam complained.

"Why him?" Taylor said. Fear in her eyes. Obviously scared for Liam.

"Don't worry I can handle them." Liam said as he punched the air in front of him.

They agreed and allowed them to surround them so they couldn't escape. Megan was bleeding and her leg was broken but the knights didn't help. Everyone ripped off parts of their clothes to help wrap Megan's bleeding arms and legs. They decided that they would take turns carrying Megan and Liam because they were just kids. They didn't deserve to walk for however long they were going to have to walk. Every night they were chained up to a tree and everyday they had to walk.

They have been walking for two weeks. Megan was better all that was left was scars and her broken leg, but Katey wasn't prepared for what happened next. They finally arrived at the Queen Alli's castle.
