Chapter 6 - (Home)

  "No, she can't be gone. She can't." Katey said to herself.

"I'm sorry. I never wanted this to happen. They controlled me and I will never forgive them." Alli replied.

When Megan got blasted Queen Alli was back to her normal good self, and the whole forest and the garden was now beautiful and full of colorful trees.

"The Gatekeeper is dead." Mylee told her.

She had Leo on her shoulder.

"It's alright! I will be your friend and help you during this hard time." Leo said nicely.

Katey replied,"The Gatekeeper's name is Olaf. Megan gave him a name."

"Let's go to the portal." Alli said.

Katey didn't pay attention to anything her friends said. She just followed Alli. Could Megan really be dead? She noticed Daniel's sad face but he had hope in his eyes. She wanted to slap him. There was no hope. Did he realize that Megan was dead? It seemed like he knew something but she didn't care. She wished that she could've been the one who got hit by those flames.

They entered a dark room full of swords and banners with shadow waves on them, but it meant nothing to Katey. At the end of the room was a dark throne. On that throne was a girl. The girl was Megan. Right beside her was someone else. Whoever it was noticed them and seemed to teleport away before she could get a good look at the person. But she noticed one thing. That person looked like Daniel.

"MEGAN!" Katey yelled.

She ran over Megan. She was asleep, but not hurt.

"Wake up Megan," says Katey.

Megan's eyes fluttered open.

"What happened? Am I dead? Is this heaven?" Megan asked.

"You're alive!" Katey told her. "Never do that to me ever again. By the way do you know who was with you when we found you? She looked like Daniel."

"I don't know, but I felt something in her. Like she was like me." Meagan answered.

"Magic! You felt magic in her?" Alli asked.

"YEAH! How do you know?" Megan replied.

"Because only people with magic can do certain things. My flames should have devoured you but whoever it was probably teleported you away and helped heal you. But no one can sense magic unless it's magical too." Alli explained.

"I HAVE MAGIC!" Megan shouted.

"Wait but you had magic too." Taylor said.

"That was a scepter that had potions in it to make it do like 3 spells. Magic is how you got here. The portal you have started when it was near magic. So it sensed your magic and took you here." Alli said.

"But Daniel wasn't near magic when we got here, so how did he get here?" says Taylor. "Wait Daniel was with Naomi when that happend , and that person looked like Daniel and had magic powers, so must have been Naomi!"

"I don't care, I just want to go home." Katey replied.

First Taylor and Liam went.

"BYE WE WILL MISS YOU!" Taylor and Liam yelled as they stepped through the portal. Then it was their turn.

"I can't go." Daniel announced. "I will freak out mom if she sees me. Besides, I have a life here."

"What do you mean by a life here?" Megan asked.

"I think I can help the Enchanted Forest approve now that Alli is good again."

"Then I guess it is time to say goodbye." Katey said.

"Before you go. We want to tell you that we will miss you." Mylee and Raylie said.

"You can visit anytime you want,"says Aubrey.

Without a word they stepped into the portal to go back home.

Katey and Megan stepped out of the portal. They were back in their basement.

"It worked." Megan said.

"Come on, we need to see what time it is." Katey replied.

They ran up the stairs and looked at the clock. It was 9:00 a.m in the morning.

"What? We were gone that long." Megan asked.

Katey and Megan's mom walked down the stairs.

"There you are. Now let's have some breakfast. I have some guests coming over." mom said.

"Weren't you wondering where we were?" Megan asked.

"Of course not. When I came home you guys were asleep."

They set the table and made some breakfast, then the doorbell rang. Katey and Megan went to answer the door. They opened the door and saw a girl and right by her was Olaf the Gatekeeper.

"YOU ARE ALIVE!" Katey shouted.

They tackled Olaf to the ground and hugged him.

"What are you talking about I've always been alive." Olaf laughed.

"Now that you know him it is time for you know me." the other girl said.

She had brown hair and eyes that looked like gold. She had regilur clothes but Katey and Megan could see there was armour under the clothes. Same with Olaf.

"I'm Alexis, Olaf's daughter."

"Nice to meet you." Megan said nervously. "Come in."

They laughed and talked together but soon Alexis and Olaf had to leave.

"By the way, we have a letter for you." Alexis said.

She gave Katey and Megan a letter. Then they left. Megan and Katey ran up stairs and ripped open the letter.

It said,

Dear Katey and Megan,

The Enchanted Forest is now better than ever. Queen Alli retired to the throne and is now letting Aubrey rule. It has been about a year now and we miss you. I proposed to Aubrey and the wedding will happen April 21 in your time period, because you know many years will pass at the Enchanted Forest, while only a few months will pass there. I wish you could be there. Mylee and Raylie are happy at the village. I miss you a lot and you should visit soon.

Love your brother Daniel.

P.S Leo made a song just for you but I won't ruin it for you. Leo wants to sing it to you in person or should he say spider?

"Well that is exciting!" Megan said.

"It's getting late. We should go to bed." Katey replied.

"Before you go you should say hi to your long lost sister." a voice behind them said.

The girl had dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. She wore a leather jacket with a purple dress. Katey knew that it was really Naomi because she looked like Daniel and that was the outfit Naomi wore on the day she went missing.

"NAOMI! YOU ARE HERE! WHY DO YOU HAVE POWERS LIKE ME?" Megan yelled.

"Relax, I will teach you how to use your powers, and I have powers like you because of my genetics. We have magic in our cells and Katey and Daniel don't. I just came here to say hi. By the way mom is not surprised you were gone because of me, okay." Naomi said. Katey thinked that Naomi read Katey's mind. "Anyway, I should go." Naomi replied.

She disappeared before they could say anything else.

"Now I will never know how she saved you." Katey said.

They walked into their bedrooms and fell asleep.
