...

Really..
Th, that was really tiring. Convincing mother was a really hard task.

Goodness. I really spent hours on convincing her..

Flashback

"OLIVIA!! I HEARD YOU WERE GOING TO BECOME AN ADVENTURER!" she barged into my room, shouting in the loudest voice possible.

I was a bit freaked out, honestly. I stoned in place.

"TRULY?! SWEETIE, TELL ME THE TRUTH!" she shook my shoulder back and forth, making me dizzy.

I touched her palm on my shoulders, "C-calm down, mother, you're panicking a bit too much." I told her, attempting to calm her down.

"OF COURSE I WOULD BE PANICKING! THE RISKS OF AN ADVENTURER ISN'T THAT SIMPLE!" she yelled at me, "You are too sweet of a child, mother is afraid you wouldn't be able to handle all the blood you are gonna witness almost daily.." she continued, frowning gloomily.

"I'll be fine, mother." I said, trying to convince more and more.. but kinda failed-

"FINE?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN FINE?! A SWEET GIRL LIKE YOU SHOULDN'T— ... "

Present

....
..I don't want to remember the.. dizzy-ing scoldings. I just managed to convince her, that's all..

Goodness.
It was truly hard.

But now, I would really need some sleep as tomorrow I have another task to do.

Yes. A talk with the king, possibly, also the prince and his annoying little girlfriend.

A meeting with a pack of morons will never make my day any better. Unless I see their stupid faces looking humiliated.

...
I'm joking.

Hah.
Let's get some sleep.

Was my last thought as I went to a deep slumber.

Time skip

Haha.

I managed to dress myself with the help of Camila. I am proud at the progress! Could you imagine that? I believe it's amazing.

...Although the highest I'd open my eyes was just a squint.

It's still a progress, though. You could not refute what I said.

I went infront of the front door as I await for my father.

We were going to leave mother because.. We would not want to see what could've happened. She could try to suddenly go to a fit of rage, and try some.. bizarre things.

And we both agreed to leave mother and deal this with only the two of us.

Father walked out of the mansion, he then glanced at me, "Olivia." he said, calling out my name.

I nodded, "Yes, father?" I asked respectfully.

"Let's go." he simply replied, then he went straight to the carriage.

The carriage we're riding was white with beautiful gold-ish streaks and it had our family crest on the carriage.

The cushion was soft and it felt comfortable to sit on. I wanted to literally bounce on it but currently, I am Olivia de Azelle, a daughter of a duke. I should keep my attitude, for now, atleast.

From this silence between me and father, I quickly assume that there should be nothing we're gonna talk about.

While keeping a good sitting posture, i relaxed my body a bit and closed my eyes, trying to clear my mind because today I need to do some troublesome things.
