"How baffling it is that we imagined cities incinerated by alien bombs and death rays when all they really needed was Mother Nature and time."
― Rick Yancey

It wasn't long before it was doubtless that the world would end. With Deserted cities and wrecked streets. The affected citizens locked up, certain to die. Quarantine buildings built across the continents and overflowing cemeteries and dead bodies being carelessly buried here and there.

No, the end wasn't near but it was there, The end of the world started. It was no longer a future prediction but unwavering reality.

People lost hope, Grief was so strong yet so weak, It didn't change the fact that people across the world were dying painfully tormenting deaths and nothing ever would change that.

But what if there is hope, what if there is a way to end the mass destruction, what if there is a cure. What if the virus wasn't natural adversity, What if it was willingly released into the earth to end the human population. How could someone be so cruel enough to give millions of people insufferable pain?

But Every Story Has A Hero, Every Hero Has A Destiny, Every Saga Has An End.

This story has a set of heroes as well. Who come together, sacrificing everything in return to find a cure, to save the world, to stop the apparent "end of the world".

The question remains whether they succeed, whether it ends 'happily ever after'? But one thing is for sure, "Stories don't always have happy endings."
