•Julia's POV•
Since I got to the early 90's on a Friday, this meant I got to spend the whole weekend shopping. I asked Lisa if she could take me to the mall and she agreed. Zack also insisted on coming, idk why but maybe it was so he could help me pay for my new wardrobe, since he was the only one who knew of my situation. We went in a few stores and I felt like I was in heaven. I ended up picking up five shirts and pants, three skirts, two dresses, and a few accessories. All of the things I picked up made me want to wear all of them at once, which is a feeling I rarely got 20 years ahead. I also based my picks on the fashions from the movie clueless (that wouldn't come out in around four years) and that also made me so happy.•Monday •
Since wearing the same thing two days in a row is basically social suicide, flaunting my outfits would be a revival for my status. I put on a checkered red skirt with a matching jacket and white crop top. For the shoes I wore red flats, since the color scheme of my jacket and skirt was black, white and red. To top off the look, I added a black chocker and straightened my hair. After I walked out of the bathroom, Zack's jaw dropped. I was sorta happy that he thought I looked beautiful because I had always had a crush on him."You look so smokin Julia!" Zack said with his voice cracking at the end.
"Here's a tip for when you're in my time, it's on point." I corrected him.
"Man you guys are weird" he replied shaking his head.
"Hey, think about how hard it is for me to use these dinosaur phones and technologies. Your lucky I have enough patience to not throw out your computers."
"Well I'm sorry we aren't as cool as you guys in the future, but as a matter of fact these are way faster than the ones a long time ago." He said
"By a long time ago do you mean I'm the last ten years? Because that is not that long ago buddy". I replied in a smart-Alec matter
"Ok, ok we are done with this conversation because obviously you know everything. Besides we are going to be late to school" he quiets down on the last part coming closer.
"Well might as well get going, what do you guys have for breakfast?" I said obviously trying to be stubborn. If he wants to play this love game, I will play a long too. Only this time I'm doing it my way
