Bus Ride Home (Beverly x OC)

𝓵𝓪𝓼𝓽 𝓭𝓪𝔂

𝓜𝓪𝓭𝓲𝓼𝓸𝓷 𝔀𝓸𝓴𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓼𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓭 𝓸𝓯 𝓱𝓮𝓻 𝓪𝓵𝓪𝓻𝓶. It was the last day of school, thankfully. She moved her hand from above her forehead to her alarm, turning it off. She sighed and sat up from the crappy mattress. She got off her bed and walked over to her small, worn out dresser. She took out a cute red shirt and some shorts. She looked through another drawer and took out some long socks. She put them on and then walked out to the kitchen. She looked at the time. She had forty minutes until school. She made some breakfast and ate it. twenty minutes. She put on her worn out white sneakers and walked out the door.She started walking to Elliots house. She stopped outside. She walked up the steps and knocked on Elliots door. Elliot answered the door. "Oh, hello Madi!" He greeted her energetically.

Madisons P.O.V

"Oh, hello Madi!" Elliot said energetically. I smiled and waved. I walked back down the steps, Elliot following. I looked at my watch, 7:45. "We should hurry!" I said and Elliot nodded. We started walking to Violets house. "Hey, I'm gonna stop by Richies house." Elliot said. I nodded "Okay, see you at school!" I said. He waved and walked across the road. I looked at the time again, 7:48. I should start running. I ran and saw Violets house. She was standing at the door. I waved and ran up her steps. I stopped beside her and took a breather. "Geez, did you run a marathon or something?" She asked and laughed "Haha, very funny, Violet." I said and playfully rolled my eyes. I took a bottle of water from my bag and chugged it. We walked to school, I talked to her about all the hobbies I'd been getting into. Like sewing, writing in a diary. All the good stuff.

When we got to school we went our seperate ways. At the end of school I was in the girls locker room. Getting my stuff after gym. I looked to my left and saw Beverly Marsh. I'd never talked to her much, she was know as the school 'slut'. I didn't believe any of the rumours though, she seemed sweet. She closed her locker and looked over to me. I quickly looked back in the locker and finished getting my stuff. I closed it and walked outside. Beverly walked out soon after and went to the bathroom. I continued walking out and walked down some steps at the side of the school. I saw the new kid... Ben, I think it was. I walked over. "Hey, new kid" I smiled. He took off his headphones, "Hey" he said. "Anyone sign your yearbook?" I asked. He shook his head. I smiled "Well I'll be honoured to be the first one to.". I took his year book and took a pen from my bag. I signed my name 'Madison' with a star and a smiley face. Hopefully not giving off the wrong vibes. He smiled "Thanks!". "Well I should get going" I waved. "See you around new kid!". I smiled and he waved. I walked off and saw a group of kids dumping their books in the trash. I recognised them to be the 'Losers Club'. I walked past them to the bus stop.

I saw Beverly walking down. I leaned on the seat behind me and waited for the bus. Beverly sat down beside me. I looked at her and smiled politely, she returned the action. "Hey, you're Madison right?" She asked. I blushed, "Yeah, and you're Beverly?". She nodded. "I've seen you around school a lot," She said "We should hang out!". I smiled "Sure!". She smiled back and I studied her features. She had fair skin, and beautiful red hair tied back in a ponytail. She had blue eyes I could get lost in anyday and beautiful pink lips. She had freckles scattered around her face. She was beautiful. She looked back at me, I quickly looked away, blushing. The bus arrived and we got on. She sat down and looked at me. Tilting her head to the chair beside her. I blushed and sat down. "Hey, I was just going to the pharmacy" She said "Want to come with me? We could go to the park after.". I nodded "Sure".
