A/N: I will be explaining Eagle Vision, in bold, from Assassin's Creed for the ones who haven't played the game, or well, Juno will.
Olympian High, New York City; 1 PM
"Good afternoon class," Percy's combat teacher, Chiron, said as the centaur walked into the gym. "We have a special treat for you all today."
As he spoke, a group of about 30 women walked in behind him.
"The Hunters of Artemis will be joining us today," Chiron spoke as his eyes wandered the class, before realizing that Percy wasn't there. "Where is Percy Jackson?"
"Sorry that I'm a bit late, Mr. Brunner," Percy said as he walked in wearing Edward Kenway's Privateer Outfit. "It takes me a bit to change into..."
He stopped talking when his eyes met stormy grey and he asked, "Annabeth? Is that you?"
"Percy?" Annabeth asked her eyes widening in surprise as her eyes met sea green. "What are you doing here?"
"I should be asking you that question," Percy replied. "I thought that you went back to Cali?"
"My mother told me to lie to my friends and say that," Annabeth replied brushing her hair out of her eyes. "I'm sorry Percy."
"Yeah," Percy replied with a small smile. "I know."
"How do you know my niece?" Artemis asked the Assassin hidden in plain sight.
"She was my best friend about 5 years ago," Percy replied with a shrug. "But she told me that she was moving to California. Anyways, we going to start the lesson?"
Chiron nodded after getting over the fact that Percy Jackson knows one of the three most beautiful goddesses born in modern day.
"Yes," Chiron said getting on track. "The lesson today is this..."
"One of you will be going against my Hunters," Artemis said as everyone looked at the Moon Goddess in shock. "Your mission is to find this," She held up a key before continuing. "This key will be on one of my Hunters. You must use stealth to get it without being spotted. Me and Annabeth will not be joining in this match, unless you want us to."
"You will have unlimited time to do this," Artemis said.
"But what of the rest of the classes we have today?" a daughter of Athena asked the goddess.
"They were canceled due to my coming here," Artemis replied. "Me and Annabeth will be flashing you all to Central Park for this lesson on stealth.
And when they were flashed to the park, Artemis said, "Now then, who wants to go first?"
So, for the next few hours, the students tried and failed to get the key from the Hunters of Artemis. Some tried several times, only to fail within 10 minutes of trying. Finally getting tired of seeing his fellow classmates fail, Percy said, "You guys are doing it all wrong. Let me try."
"If you succeed, Prissy," a daughter of Ares named Clarisse began. "Then I'll give you a kiss!"
Percy smirked and said, "I'll hold you to that." He then flipped his hood up, before the Hunters spread themselves out and Percy quickly ran into a bush and used the Sight. Everything then became highlighted in blue, except for ten hunters, who were now highlighted red, and the other thick vegetation which was white.
Juno: The Sight went by different names throughout history. The Sight, Odin-Sight, Eagle Sense, a more advanced version, Eagle Vision, and The Sense. But only a handful have this skill. This vision allows the user to instinctively know who the enemy is and who an ally is, even know persons or objects of interests. They, the ones who possess this ability, are even able to, as Edward Kenway said, "See sounds, and hear shapes." Meaning that they see things better than most people. Like puzzles hidden on walls, or even hidden entrances within buildings. But it is not always completely infallible. For one to know who the enemy is, they must initially know if they are one. So if one is acting like an ally, then the Sight will see them as an ally.
As a Hunter began to move towards a bush, Percy got right to the edge, before putting his hand against her mouth and nose, before knocking the Hunter out and moving along. This went on for 20 minutes, when he used The Sight, again and saw that the Lt. of the Hunt, Zoe Nightshade, was colored gold. He then focused his vision and saw that she had on two special items. A hairpin and the key.
"There she is," Percy muttered softly. "I'm going to have to be very careful now... Don't want to fail when I'm this close to completing it."
So he began following the Lt. waiting for the perfect time to take the key and the hairpin, not knowing of what the hairpin is.
"Any sign of him?" Zoe asked Phoebe.
"Not yet," Phoebe replied, before noticing something. "Have you noticed that-"
Before she finished, Percy shot a sleep dart in her neck, causing her to fall asleep and getting Zoe to try and wake her. Percy then snuck up on the Lt. and neck chopped her before taking the key and the hairpin which immediately turned into a ballpoint pen, confusing the Assassin.
He then walked over to his class and said, "That is how you get it done."
"Did you kill my Hunters?" Artemis asked, glaring at the Assassin.
"I just knocked them out," Percy replied looking defiantly into the Goddess's eyes. "You don't scare me Artemis. In fact, the only ones that scare me are Hestia and my mother."
"How did you know who had the key?" Annabeth asked him.
"Dove altri uomini seguono ciecamente la verità, ricorda, nulla è vero. Dove altri uomini sono limitati dalla moralità o dalla legge, ricorda, tutto è permesso," Percy said in Italian, before walking away getting Artemis to look at him with a pale face.
"H-He can't be... But I thought that they died out centuries ago," Artemis said to herself.
"What are you talking about?" Annabeth asked her Aunt. "What did he say?"
"I must tell father that they have risen once again," Artemis said. "Class is over. I'll flash you all back to school and then you can all go home."
