_____________

Your smile still warms my heart

_____________

Just as expected once again, there was a letter, except this time there was no number of dat like the other few letters. It was supposed to be day 11 right?

Seungwoo didn't come back that night, seungyoun was worried, he tried to call his friend over and over but he got no response. He went to the library to ease his mind but he couldn't resist checking if there was another letter.

He sighed to himself. What is he even doing? Who is he kidding? He feels empty ever since he left the hospital. Everyone's probably worried about him, but he chose to run away. Vacation he said? No, to him this was an escape. To escape his reality.

But he's been feeling even emptier ever since he got here, like something is missing. Something that's not sitting right...

What could it be?

"Hey...what's with the long face? Is there a problem?" he heard a sweet voice ask, he turned to look at the librarian and was met with her worried gaze.

Seungyoun quickly his the letter in his pockets.

"ah, no. There's no problem." seungyoun lied.

"you seem to have a lot on your mind though..." the girl pouts, wanting to know the truth.

Seungyoun pretends to sigh, "I was thinking of what book I want to start reading next." he smiles at her, hoping she wouldn't catch on.

She snorts a laugh, "was that it?"

Cute seungyoun had to look away, his face probably burning already.

"aish, I told you to come to me when you need help." Seol 'tsks' at him, grabbing his arm and leading him to her desk behind the farthest bookshelf.

"hehe, if we discuss here, we won't be able to disrupt the readers too much." she explains, letting him sit on the chair. Seungyoun was too taken aback to react, his stomach has been churning a lot for some reason.

Seol sits on the opposite side of the table, stacking book by book in front of seungyoun's face while blabbing about good books she's read and is reading.

She stopped when there was no reaction from the guy she thought she was helping.

"god, sorry. I sound like a crazy nerd, do I?" she visibly blushes and lowers her head.

She hears him laugh heartily, covering his face, hiding his flushed face though his ears are all red.

"no you weren't, to be honest you sound just like me." she snaps her head and looked at him, "let's be crazy nerds together." seungyoun said and she smiles wide at that.

"oh and for your information, I've read these too." seungyoun chuckles, Seol's eyes was bulging out of their sockets when she heard that.

"REALLY? ALL OF THESE?" she asked in disbelief to which seungyoun nods.

"how...? It took me months..." she tilts her head to the side. "something came up that I had to spend time alone for 2 months...I've just been reading books since then..." seungyoun shrugs.

Seol's expressions softened, she wasn't sure what it was but she's sure it was painful, she can see it in his eyes.

"you know what? Let's do something else instead." Seol suggests eagerly, standing up from her seat.

"like what?" seungyoun asks curiously.

"let's hang out outside."
