As I seen the doors close I hopped up to quickly check in the mirror to see if I was dressed well enough to go to the Barnes cafe where she was. what? You thought it I just stayed up in my house to stare at her? No I'm not that much of a creep I stare at her from inside the cafe
Walking down stairs I pull on my cardigan and smile knowing that soon I could be near her, closing the door and locking it I make my way across the street and inside the cafe before stepping in however, like I usually do, I take a deep breath when walking inside
Once stepping foot in the door way I walk to the counter to be greeted by Alice, the cashier, I see her blush for I already know why, she has a crush on me. I smile in return as her face becomes bright red. "hello Angelo" she greets me by my nickname. "the usual?" she asks with a smile. "yes ma'am, caramel macchiato with extra whip cream, make it sweet" I winked at her and she giggles, hey, I don't like her, I just like to mess with her. If that's what you call it. "on the way sir" Alice finally said, I turned around and saw her reading her book..man, I'm not a shy guy but when it comes to her I'm as shy as a baby. " here you go, extra sweet" Alice says breaking the silence. "thanks hun" I say as I pay "have a great day" I sit by the window slowly sipping my coffee and watch her, breathing quietly, her book pages turning, her eyes following every word. she's perfect only if I knew her name
