The smell of breakfast was leaking into my room and filling all my senses making my mouth water. I follow the scent down the stairs and into the kitchen where I saw Alastor at the stove flipping pancakes.

"Those smell good" I say walking up to stand next to him.

He looks down at me and smiles "Why thank you my dear!" He says in a very enthusiastic manner.

I stroll over to the cabinets and begin pulling out dishes to set the table. I hear a muffled groan from the hallway and I look over to see a tired looking Vox.

I hummed in greeting to him and walked back into the kitchen to help Al.

I set the steaming hot food on the table making my own mouth water in ambition. I finally sit down and grab my fork to cut into the fluffy pancakes. 

"Wow Al your an amazing cook! You should cook for us every meal" I sat taking a few more bites of the food.

"Why thank you dear!" He says rubbing the back of his neck "You flatter me"

"Soooo" I say finishing my breakfast "What are we gonna do today?" 

"I was thinking we could go on a walk I found a wonderful park!" Alastor says looking down a bit.

I nod and pick up my dishes to set them in the sink "Sounds fun"

Before I walk into the kitchen I notice out of the corner of my eye Alastor and his friends passing around guilty looks. Now I knew something was up. I set the dishes in the sink and quickly stuff a knife into my pocket making sure it was hidden. Just in case I thought as I walk out trying to not feel a bit guilty.

Alastor was bus picking up dishes while grumbling softly to himself about how lazy Vox was. I snicker a bit gaining his attention. 

(Alastor)

I can't help but feel guilt slowly building up inside of me I knew there was no turning back now. I sadly smile at the sweet girl as she snickers at me. 

"Why don't you go get dressed dear" I say trying to hide the sadness in my voice.

"Okay" She says while running towards the stairs.

I quickly turn away and take a deep breath to calm myself. I knew what had to be done and I couldn't back out.

It was to late.
