Night and day and day and night
I felt her pain as I saw she cry
The tears that fell and the ones she wiped
All touched my heart and made me sigh
Am I who I am or Is this who I am supposed to be
She yelled as I paused in aw
It was the pain she felt by people who saw and knew
Who knew what disaster they would put her through
It's the tone of the words and not what was said
The tears I shed but yet no one helped
It's the way I try to be happy with that smile that covers everything
That smile that makes me feel complete
That smile that makes everything more believable
That smile that's never undeniable
Hold onto your tears, hide your fears, and never reveal what makes you frail..
I'll feel good and they will see all the bad things they've done to me
All the bad things that made me bleed
